It certainly is for visitors as they will follow their sat nav, and that will almost always take them up the FR as it is usually the quickest route. Nobody follows sign posts these days.

Emley moor TV mast? So Huddersfield or thereabouts

    Sunderland crowd..

It seems odd to be disappointed, because a 25K league gate is fantastic given where we were a few years ago. The pricing debate will rumble on, but I do think with some minor changes, especially around kids pricing, we're talking about a full house today and those 5000 empty seats are filled...

Crowd looking like it will be pretty much the same as the Boro game in the home end. More overall as Boro didn't bring many (which was fair enough).

. I'd love to smash these today, just can't shake off this nagging feeling we're going to get turned over.

They have opened about 10 rows. By this stage against Boro blocks 4, 5 and 27 were fully opened and well populated. We ought to be selling more home tickets for this than an early kick off televised game and yet sales are behind and will remain so it seems. There is no positive spin here, these...

Population of Leicestershire is 1.1 million. They'll also find less competition in places like Melton Mowbray than we get in Nuneaton and other Warwickshire towns full of Villa/Blues/Leicester fans. Leicester have a notably bigger catchment area than us to be honest.

    Season Tickets!!!

Received some but not all. Last season SC season tickets were a different design, so easy to flash at the steward at the bottom of the steps. No difference this season and my block number is smudged so no way for them to verify I'm in SC. I imagine they will just have to do away with the ticket...

I think they've only opened up a few rows in block 10 so far.

In which case it would be proportionate so it wouldn't matter. You'd rather give up 10% of a seat sold at £30 than 10% of a seat not sold at £37.

    Sunderland crowd..

Are you suggesting it is? So we're trying to suppress crowds by pricing people out because the higher pricing obviously reduces gates. That's one batshit conspiracy..

What's that got to do with anything?

There is a happy medium I think. The WBA pricing is spot on.

The current capacity is 30,000, as we achieved at the last but one league game. The last paragraph I don't get, you think 4000 people are refusing to go because they haven't opened block 27, despite there being availability all round the ground?

    Season Tickets!!!

I guess we're looking at digital tickets for the weekend? I don't know anyone who has received there's. No biggie, would rather we had print at home again than be waiting for the postman Saturday morning.

Somebody needs to message Hull asap, they are not maximising revenues. Idiots

    Sunderland crowd..

Against Boro, there were 22.2K home fans in total. This was with most of block 27 sold and much of blocks 4 and 5. They have not been opened yet 😂. Fine, we're arguing about something we can verify in few days when the numbers are confirmed. Regardless, whether we match the Boro numbers or not...

Well it's not in an historical context, clearly, but relatively it's not great. The go to justification for these high cat A prices is always, yeah but these are the big games, the games people want to see, they will pay it blah blah. A number of times last season cat A attendances were very...
