    Memorial Park Gathering??

Bollocks to all the experts, their years of studying medical science, and years of experience. We should all adhere to what Tracey and Kevin say on Facebook

    Memorial Park Gathering??

John Maxwell Edmonds wrote of those who bravely fought in the war “For your tomorrow, we gave our today”...how sad that so many seemingly cannot be bothered to give their today to allow people a tomorrow.

Just how big is our fan base ?

Sorry that this won’t really answer the question, but one thing I have really noticed a lot (particularly when going for my daily lockdown walk) is just how many children are now wearing Coventry City tops...so hopefully that might be a good sign for the future

    Magnus Hedman

Yes, sorry, I stand corrected. I was getting Nilsson and Eric Black mixed up. I thought McGinnity came in and immediately brought in Reid I think Richardson was still at the helm, responsible for bringing in Jim Smith

    Magnus Hedman

The fact that Hedman came in and within half a season had replaced Ogrizovic as Number 1, was really a sign as to just how poor previous back up goalkeepers were in the previous 10 years or more. I think only Filan played at Premier League level outside of Coventry City. Hedman was the number 1...

Players unanimously agree a 25% wage deferral

Great credit to the players, to Robins and to Viveash. As has been said, they probably won’t be on massive wages. Maybe us fans could get together and chip in something...show them that their thoughts and actions are appreciated

Fly on the wall football films/documentaries

I recommend a drama on Netflix called The English Game. It is based on true events and players from the latter part of the 19th century, and is about how football changed from being a sport for the wealthy to being available to the working class folk. A great watch, I spent an afternoon watching...

    Tuesday Matches

If he’s the number one goalkeeper, just how bad must their back up keeper be...?

    U23s v QPR today

I hope that Giles might play a part in this match, if he obviously cannot play in the FA Cup. Be nice to ‘see’ what he might offer (by ‘see’ I’m going from what others who will be there who can report on here...sadly I’m working today)

Match Thread Tranmere Rovers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 1st Jan

Darren Huckerby? One hat trick was against Macclesfield Town I think in the third round of the FA Cup, the other hat trick might have been against Leeds United? I stand to be corrected

    Wasps downward spiral...

Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I’ve just noticed that next year’s Champion of Champions snooker will move from the Ricoh Arena to Milton Keynes. That will be another hit to the coffers. Certainly the semi finals and final appeared to have been well attended.

Does anybody have any updates on the injury to Josh Pask? Any possibility he might be close to a return?

That’s nothing though; Sunderland are stuck in 1977

Favourite football ground that no longer exists (excluding HR)

May I put in a vote for the old Wembley Stadium? The walk up Wembley Way to see those iconic two towers looming. Quite an experience and particularly on Cup Final day it made it special Now although obviously in the same location the towers have been replaced by an arch and even Wembley Way...

    Easy fixtures

We helped put 2 of those teams in the bottom three by beating what is put out in front of us. By this logic, Manchester United’s first game against Chelsea was “easy” as they were second from bottom after the first day of the season...crikey how crap is that Europe’s League winning side!?!

    Transfer Rumour Herbie Kane

I’d just hope we would give him the number 52 shirt!

    Poll: Who to target

I voted for Wasps. Living outside of Coventry, I don’t think there is much I can personally do that affects the Council (cannot withhold Council Tax for example, and not would I encourage anyone to do so), however I do intend to spend more money on Coventry RFC this year to hopefully contribute...

    First ‘Home’ Game Attendance

I think if the club get the marketing right, and maybe if they throw in a surprise appearance by Tawny Kitaen to boost some numbers then we could see 5,000 come to watch a barn storming win for the Sky Blues
