Sheaf is blatantly going to be a very good ball playing centre half. He has got away with both CM at youth and lower level... he doesn't seem quick or agile enough in CM, especially once he is turned with space behind him. Needs to face the game....

Hamer is NOT the new Liam Walsh. It is even better than that! He is our new Michael Doyle In all seriousness, he is superior technically to Doyle, but has that same energy and snarling tenacity. I can only imagine how good he will be as he matures and learns the 'dark arts' a bit better...

I think this might be the season where we all realise what a player this lad is. He has been cruising in L2 and L1. I think he has been our most consistent player for some time now, and i think he will step up to the championship with minimal fuss. Hope we can keep hold of him long term.

Our 4 best players last season were... Dabo Walsh Rose McCallum None are playing at the start of the season. Ostigard can fill in for Rose, Hamer for Walsh. We have some issues at fullback. Giles isn't strong defensively

Depending on the pronunciation, this lad is either mustard or he sucks....

Hamer looks a different player to Walsh, more of a tenacious terrier like midfielder, snapping at player's heels. He looks to have decent anticipation and pace and good technical ability. I think he will give us more than Walsh defensively in winning the ball back, hopefully he can move us...

He knows Hamer well, so hopefully he will help him settle in at least. He might even benefit having Hamer around too. Be less homesick (if that has been an issue)

Read a rumour this morning. Has one year left on his deal with us apparently. Hopefully we have a year option to extend that further!
