I see getting Bright in like bringing in a ringer for a Sunday league cup run. The whole team think he's a bit of a c*nt, he never passes or compliments anyone else and never comes for a pint after BUT, you all put up with it because he gets you wins...
Marosi 6 - Did ok
McCallum 6 - Need him back on the left
Ostigard 6 - Good minutes for him
McFadzean 6 - Offside call was suicide!
Hyam 6 - Mix up over the offside
Giles 5 - Poor, looked tired or scared
Hamer 5 - Needs to do more
Sheaf 5 - Still thinks he has acres of time
Allen 4 - A lot of...
I was looking for the settings cog icon trance! Strange, settings icon wasn't there on chrome or safari. Reloaded chrome and it's there now. Thanks lads, gremlins already! #PUSB
Mate, I fully concur. Called this on twitter after the first game. You need at least one player in a front 3 that can hold the ball up and take the pressure off the defence for a few phases
Marosi
Rose McFadzean Hyam
Dabo Kelly Hamer McCallum
Shipley O'Hare
Godden
Sheaf was much improved last night so will push and I hope Tyler Walker starts to get some opportunity and push on
Marosi 7 - Made a few saves, decent enough distribution, couldn't have done much with their goal
Rose 6 - Still getting back up to speed from injury and in a new league
McFadzean - 6.5 Headed everything, but at fault for their goal, a few wayward passes
Hyam 8 - Taken to the Championship like a...
McFadzean headed everything, but was at fault for their goal. He HAS to put in some attempt at a challenge there, it wasn't in the area, slide, go to ground, attempt to hook the ball or something. It looked pretty stupid...
Sheaf MOM tonight (shortly followed by Hyam). Some very good tackles and interceptions.
Much sharper in everything he did. Positionally good, even looked to go up a notch alongside Kelly when he came on.
Far too casual. This isn't fucking u23 football anymore! He strolls around like he is the best player on the pitch and it is infuriating to watch. He probably was at youth level. He clearly has the attributes to be a very good player at this level, but not coming together for him just yet. I...
Absolute pet hate of mine is players ducking out of tackles. I couldn't believe how many times our players did this last night and it cost us big time.
All of our midfielders looked scared to leave a foot in and were jumping out the way of contact. Bournemouth by contrast were very committed in...
We need a threat in behind on the counter. Teams have worked us out already and are going for an.insanely high.press and it is working. They know we have little in behind and over the top
I feel like a Sheaf needs to realise that he is not playing academy or L1 footy anymore.... he ISN'T one of the best players on the pitch anymore and playing with a casualness he is, shows that he hasn't fully grasped the level he is at now.
I still think he will ultimately be a ball playing...
