What’s your expectation for the new guy?

At the end of the season see what PPG were need for play-offs. If the new manager achieves that over the games he has, then that's fine. Even if it's slightly below but the team look organised, motivated and playing attractive football.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

So lets just sleepwalk into a catastrophe because others won't be going. You do understand the concept of leadership don't you?

Amongst the worst decisions in the history of Coventry City FC

I feel if we did go up we wouldn't find it particularly enjoyable, as we'd almost certainly get our arse handed to us most weeks. I think it would have been more enjoyable knowing we'd done it with MR at the helm all the way through the leagues. But that doesn't mean I'd rather us not get...

I think he might, but in a very different way.

Maybe, but if necessary he'd try and change that required majority. The houses and the courts are more likely to side with him and themselves could use their majority to chip away at other things to enable it further down the line. And if they don't he'll call them traitors and set his fanbase...

    Sunderland Player Ratings

Although you might argue the ball didn't go in the corner, I don't think Collins positioning was terrible as if it had been hit towards the other corner he'd have struggled to get across. He was definitely surprised by just how fast the ball was travelling though, as I think we all were. Even...

    Sunderland Player Ratings

Probably travelled in the hope he would be fit but ultimately wasn't. No-one else to replace him with though (given we had 2 development goalies on the bench) and rather than have an empty space put Simms there and the opposition might be a bit worried about him coming off the bench?

I fully expect him to try and overturn the two terms rule.

    Good intentions - poorly executed....

Although it's not her official title, given that she's been involved in the interviewing and recruitment of the coaches and the change in the coaching set-up, it does feel like Dr. Roberts is at least partially filling the role unofficially.

Right who's the next manager then?

I've seen people mention the good job at Derby, but he got loaned a load of very good players by Chelsea that were way better than most teams in the league. And they didn't go up. And as Doug doesn't seem to want loanees that kind of puts paid to that connection. Chelsea at that time should...

Right who's the next manager then?

You do realise our name will become Frank Lampard's Coventry City? And that can fuck right off.

It does seem odd. I can only guess he's been getting advice on organisational set-up and they've said that isn't the way to go and he's got on board with it big style.

Doug King - calling it as it should be.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Stops doing that as you get older.

It'll go the way of Peter Reid.

How could you not? He's a dish!

    Good intentions - poorly executed....

If we're hiring a head coach to manage the coaches, surely that head coach should get to choose who those coaches are? If whoever it turns out to be realises after a short period of time that the current coaches aren't up to the job, surely he can get them replaced? Otherwise they can't do...

    How awful is this...

Fucking disgusting. And also dangerous. The likelihood of a 9-10y-o surviving childbirth (or the child) is really low. And even if they did their bodies would be ruined.

My initial thought was Collins in goal, and your reactions seem to suggest that is indeed it.
