A mealy mouthed responded Pete. Taxing the existing structures is not redefining them. The aim of the tax code ought to be maximising tax revenues and what we seen in the lead up to the budget was the Government begging wealth creators to stay put in the country. It’s naive to put your faith in...

The whole package of tax rises will tax workers indirectly in any case. The whole ‘no tax on working people’ was a lie and Labour was too cowardly to define the first place.

It’s petty class warfare. At the current rate, we’ll only have to put up with this lot until 2029.

It goes to show we need to invest in the infrastructure required to upgrade the academy to Cat 1 (or A whichever it is). Having promising talent snapped up for peanuts is a bit depressing.

Probably the same place as Sakamoto or as a replacement for Haji. Despite primarily being a ST, there were times on Saturday where he operated in wider channels - something similar to his inside forward role in a 4-2-3-1.

    Roll call

Robins and players are right when they say some of the results we had were harsh. We deserved a win at QPR and we didn’t deserve to lose at PNE. It’s small margins and I feel that we’ve had our fair share of things going against us in recent games. It hasn’t been good enough and things still...

What was the last game he got an assist or a goal? He’s a developing player still, capable in his own right agreed but I do not believe he has star quality yet. Him being taken off corners will cut his assists and xA too. A steady 7/10 player is where he’s at atm.

Really? I weren’t overly impressed and believe he thrived more in wide channels where he can isolate a fullback. Centrally, he gets the ball and runs into too much traffic.

Yes and no. Outside of the final third, he’s great. When it comes to shooting or passing to players in the box, it drops off. Against Middlesborough, I’d keep the team as is, even Rudoni at LWB.

I also think Torp looks better alongside Sheaf imo. It’s the same with Eccles, looks twice the player alongside Sheaf. Today Torp offered us something we don’t have without him, some lovely passes and of course his finish. A shot that Sheaf nor Eccles would take on their weak foot. In fact...

Can we stop the nonsense of suggesting Bassette and BTA upfront ahead of Simms and Wright please?

Still conceded 2 goals in a home game… Do we laugh or cry at this point? 😂

It’s almost like the manager and coaches tried this out in training and liked the look of it. Good to hear we’re doing well, I’ve just got to the ground.

I suggested Kitch as a potential LB in a 4-2-3-1 so it’s not a surprise we’ve gone for this. Our defence is just that leaky we need to build back a foundation. QPR breached the gap between Binks and JDS 3-4 times on Tuesday, including the move that led to their goal.

Who hasn’t got a chance? I assume you mean Labour so will respond in kind. I really dislike it when a new government blames all the ills of their programme on the previous regime. Hated it when Cameron and Osborne spent 2010 blaming the weather on the previous Labour government To sum up the...

It was 6th best in the league last season in terms of goals conceded. You’re not making any sense.

Changing the team every week / our best team

He has only rotated the strikers. We have 4 good strikers with lots of depth who will all have their expectations of minutes. Got to keep them all happy too.

It’s not something I’ve looked into personally. With these initiatives, they’re not necessarily things that will bring in overnight benefits. You need businesses to set up at these sites and to go live operationally. Similar to infrastructure spending and/or planning reform. The benefits tend...

Is this the best squad weve assemled since relegation in "01?

Agreed. In my mind, all we need is a player like Hamer in this team and we become so much better at creating chances, and scoring goals (in theory). Likewise, something needs to be done about the defence. You look at Eccles and Sheaf, they do not pass enough to players in the box. Both are...
