    Next High Court Date

I was under the impression that the recent report produced by the administrator was for the purposes of the next High Court hearing. Does anyone know when/if this is happening and if so what are the potential outcomes ? (with the exception of adjournment)

    This two week delay

There is probably nothing sinister in this and the administrator is working to a set timetable. Logically it could be something like: 31st May - final bids received 1st June to 5th June - discussions with league on preferred bidder and golden share 6th June - ratification of preferred bidder...

    tim speaks.....bullshit as usual

I think there are antics on both sides of the fence. The route both SISU and ACL are pursuing is what's known as MAD - "Mutually Assured Destruction". There are some interesting points made on the attached forum from a site completely unrelated to football about the viability of ACL without...

    tim speaks.....bullshit as usual

I think that's the point of the modular design, though I think we're preempting things, given there are other barriers to overcome before then.

    tim speaks.....bullshit as usual

Ok, so that's the first part sorted. How about: 1. Demonstrating that the club is a going concern for the purposes of getting the accounts signed off 2. Surviving on crowds of 2 to 3k whilst the new ground is being built and complying with FFP at the same time 3. Getting planning...

    PSL Holders Considering Legal Action

Good luck with that one I'd say! I thought it was a ridiculous scheme in the first place and anyone who bought into it were mugs. Apologies if that offends anyone who may be a PSL holder, because I'm sure their intentions were to help out the club, but I don't think it was the wisest thing to...

So where is the CCFC football trade?

Unfortunately it's the same morality that caused the Banking crash and legality didn't come into that either!

So where is the CCFC football trade?

You specify 23/03/12. Surely that should be 2013 for it to coincide with administration ?

    It seems plain to me........

Surely those things are mutually exclusive? If SISU remain then the club will play outside of Cov and thus crowds and income streams will dwindle. A new owner (it doesn't have to be Haskell) can negotiate a return to the Ricoh on favourable terms and generate some optimism which should...

So where is the CCFC football trade?

"Finally, let me stress I have no influence over statements issued by or on behalf of Holdings as they purport to be the company that has run the football club for however long" Does this comment by Appleton in his statement yesterday allude to the facts OSB has outlined?

    Statement from administrator

That's probably how it will pan out, but surely this will just push the problems further down the line with another administration likely in the next 2 years?

Will the trust come out and actively oppose a move away from the Ricoh ?

Yes, but timing is everything. In the main they haven't had to deal with the constraints of FFP. You may be right, but I'd wager that the best case scenario will be rebuilding the club from conference level ala Luton, Oxford and many other former league clubs.

Will the trust come out and actively oppose a move away from the Ricoh ?

2,3 or 5 years, it doesn't matter, it will be long enough to kill off the football club formerly known as Coventry City.

    Pressley wants pacy winger

I think the overall sentiment was correct. He may have had a 'storming' season, but so have other players in League 2 only to fall short at the higher level. Cody McDonald springs to mind. He may well turn out to be an excellent signing, but at this moment in time it's a risk

Planning permission for a new stadium

Tim Fisher has stated that the new stadium will be in the 'Coventry area' which means it's likely to be Warwickshire/Solihull jurisdiction. Whether that improves the odds of getting planning permission is anyone's guess.

    Anyone Bought Us Yet?

Surely the question of who owns the golden share is a red herring. CCFC holdings indisputably hold the brand rights for Coventry City, therefore you can obtain the golden share but you won't have the right to call your football team Coventry City. Or am I missing something ?

    administrator's report

Yes, but surely that's the whole point of this debate. The accounts were prepared by SISU and their associates and are potentially dubious.

    administrator's report

What really irritates me is the Telegraph's complicity with SISU in reporting the £60m figure as fact. The 1st line of their report this morning states: "Paul Appleton will issue his report tomorrow to the High Court in London and creditors of the club, which owes £60million". If they'd...

Petition 4,858 signed (as at 8 pm on 10th May)

Responses can also be sent in via the old fashioned method i.e. paper. Does anyone know how many have been sent in this way ? That should bump up the numbers further.

    Preston Haskell?

I would take that if it meant the club have a clear way forward.
