Adaramola being sent back to Palace?

Exactly. If he's apparently as highly rated in the Palace camp as was initially suggested, there's no sense in him staying here and not playing. Ultimately that's detrimental to the player's development. Like you said they might even be able to find him a club last minute if it's cancelled now...

Adaramola being sent back to Palace?

Contractually maybe. But if both parties come to a mutual agreement that there's little point in him remaining here then you'd think Palace will likely agree to take him back.

Hmm. Plenty of factors outlined in the statement that would warrant the club needing to sell and as such it offers them a platform to present their case on why a further sale was necessary if one materialises over the next couple of days. But that's just the sceptic in me talking.

Indeed. Conveniently left out to support the narrative. Although really it still highlights that a significant player sale is needed every season to cover operational costs. That strategy hasn't changed and if anything is only exacerbated further while the club competes in the Championship.

I assume that's only down to moving to St. Andrews. £1.6m was extracted in 2019 and I assume little, if anything, would've been injected if there wasn't an urgent need to plug the gap as a result of the significant drop in ticketing/commercial/sponsorship revenue as a result of the move?

    Club update

Outside what you've mentioned, the club's commercial strategy hasn't really changed since L1 - in fact you could argue in some aspects it's even more rudimentary as at least they attempted at trialling a few events such as the CCFC Race Day and a few After Dinner events and the kit reveal in L1...

    Club update

They do nothing to maximise commercial income at the club, nor try to leverage the 13k+ ST holders for the benefit of increasing revenue. The commercial operation is shambolic and has barely improved since the L2 days.

    You've jinxed it now.

    Club update

It's crap communication though. If they're going to address fans through a statement at least attempt at making it coherent. No accountability for the lack of sufficient notice with regards to hospitality boxes being out of use tomorrow, essentially admitted that they cannot afford to operate in...

    Club update

How can there be a sensible offer for the club when any enquires received are met with a mammoth overinflated price tag that even a bidder who was a lifelong fan likely wouldn't even entertain?

    Gyokores

More likely Boddy would've been turned on by a bid.

Either repair costs have been offset by the next rent payments or the club has paid directly for it. I assume it's the former but the statement is full of half truths so god knows.

    Club update

There isn't an alternative strategy - the model has been to bring in players with a minimal outlay, develop and sell for profit in order to cover operational costs. This message has been lost in translation of the past couple of years due to the progress made and there being no significant sales...

    Club update

It's utterly laughable. They'd clearly known about the pre-existing event for months and no pre-warning was given. There's simply no excuse for it and the reasoning they've given is pathetic. Talk about passing the buck.

    Club update

The statement asks more questions than it answers really. It wouldn't be picked apart if it provided any actual clarity. Is it obvious they are selling the club? Unless a prospective buyer comes in with a ridiculous bid that matches their overinflated valuation I can't see SISU selling anytime...

    Club update

There's also transfer instalments on Sheaf and Gyokeres likely due. That's on top of the pretty severe cashflow shortage and pitch costs - assuming contrary to reports we did in fact pay for the repairs.

    Club update

By saying that they've essentially admitted they can't afford to operate in this division. Not that's anything new or a surprise.

Dom Hyam - Blackburn bid ?

I presume at this stage it is pure speculation. Perhaps it is to fit the narrative, perhaps there's something more to it. That being said IF Boddy was the instigator in negotiations one can assume it would've put the club in a poor negotiating position which ultimately would've had an impact on...
