    Russell Brand

Not up on the exact details of this Brand affair but don't these historical accusations/ cases basically come down to the verbal evidence of the parties involved rather than like a current case that would have more physical evidence etc? Mendy was bang to rights according to the media for years...

When Howell learns to process quicker he could be a decent QB - was the same in college. Plus your IOL isn't great - Cosmi should be playing tackle.

Think he's more obsessed/ worried about racing Hamilton than the race in general. It's also where Perez has collapsed - competing with Verstappen before he has even got the rest of the field beat.

yes but Verstappen certainly looked quick enough 2nd half of the race so maybe a combination of factors eg flexi wing & hard tyres

Vikings sloppy again. Still can't defend the run. Won the close ones last season, going to lose them this.

How bad are conditions/pitch when you're set 170 odd to win in 60 overs (via declaration) and you're 23 for 4?

Sickener for the Jets. Go all in, mortgage the farm and Rodgers probably out for season at least.

Term "rookie mistake" never more true than tonight. Lining up offside for a FG just before halftime gave Bucs a first down that led to a TD & turned Mayfield's performance around. For some reason Vikings immediately changed up the defensive approach that had been running Mayfield ragged all...

Wasps go to bottom of the pyramid

RWC actually sums up Rugby's problem. It really isn't a global game. It might be played in many countries on some level but realistically there are only about 9/10 countries where it is played on comparatively large scale.

Mahomes' contract will be about creating cap space. His cap hit is massive. All these big contracts do end up biting - look at Bucs problems with Brady's even after he retired. Costing them 35 m this season. Underpaid argument is more related to the silly amounts some of the 2nd tier QBs have...

Wasps go to bottom of the pyramid

Also football used some of the money for better facilities and importantly pitches. We don't see months of quagmire pitches some of us grew watching games on. English rugby threw money into wages and didn't develop the other parts so well. Also (my limited understanding) they haven't improved...

    Heat

Those mornings are the killers. Plus they normally mean night temps aren't dropping much below 25. Makes sleep difficult. Lot of people here "migrate" downstairs for the summer due to it a bit cooler than upstairs. Not a big fan of Aircon but can't leave windows open at night because of the...

Not that surprised lions beat chiefs. Circle of NFL life - Detroit now loaded (because they've been terrible) with young high draft picks on rookie contracts. Chiefs got away with average WRs last season because Kelce helped them get away with it. No Kelce last night, average WRs that couldn't...

    Heat

We've been "celebrating" dropping down to 29/30 last week or so. Been another brutal summer. Main thing now is night temperatures dropping into the "teens" which does make the mornings and evenings more bearable.
