    Thorn speaks...

The supporters may bounce back but will the club/team. It's 11 years and counting since we played in the top flight and no signs of a sustained recovery so far, in fact quite the opposite.

    Thorn speaks...

This is all a regurgitation of the post match interview and I don't expect anything new to be added ahead of the Southampton game, other than 'We are concentrating on Saturday's game', 'We owe it to West Ham to perform well', 'We need to sign off positively for the fans' blah blah blah bullshit...

Change all that is SKY BLUE?

Given our pathetic displays of late, perhaps pink is the colour we should rebrand to

    Another bitter Sunderland fan

http://salutsunderland.com/2012/04/mixed-feelings-au-revoir-portsmouth-good-riddance-coventry/? The utter hypocrisy in this article is astounding. He holds sentimental views about a club that has gone into admin twice in 2 years, cheating every other club they've played against, yet still...

    How many points for survival?

1 more point than Bristol over the next 3 games to give us a chance on the last day. It's not beyond Barnsley to get a draw, they're not that bad defensively, after all we only beat them in the last 10 minutes

    The Run- In.

I've got a gut feeling this will go to the last minute of the final game. This is how I see it panning out Sat 14th - Bristol 0 pts Cov 1pt - Bham too good for Bristol. Cov a hard earned point Tues 17th - 1pt each - Bristol earn a point against draw specialists West Ham, Coventry slip up at...

Would everyone be happy with remaining unbeaten if it meant 6 draws and probable relegation ? I thought not ! I'd rather see 3 more wins with the likelehood that that will keep us up

how many points will we need

Southampton will not throw the game with us. They are too professional for that. It's pie in the sky dreamt up by some of their fans. The games at Hull, Burnley and Bristol do look winnable, though 4 to 5 points is probably realistic given our abysmal away form so far. I think we can pick up...

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey-eyeing-two-loan-deals-1-3656014 Meanwhile, Portsmouth continue on their merry way and are allowed to sign players who could play against us on Saturday !

Watford. I have us down for a win...

Doesn't seem that frightening to me. It suggests their home form is mixed and they concede as many as they score. We're not talking Barcelona for goodness sake !

    Scouts in the corner

My son went with his group, £5 for the day. Lots of activities laid on and he enjoyed every minute, though I must say he's already an avid Sky Blues fan. There were groups from Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Birmingham, so the club may even have converted some other kids to the Sky...

    bbc championship predictor time!!!!!

I have us finishing 3rd bottom, 3 points adrift of Bristol, but there are 2 potential 'swing' results in there that could keep us up 1. An away win at Bristol, where I have us down for draw 2 A win at Southampton, where I'm predicting a defeat Either of those 2 scenarios would then keep us up...

    Forests Run: Blessing in Disguise

I think your maths needs a bit of brushing up on. if teams around us keep beating each other they will be averaging 1.5 pts per game, drawing will mean a 1 pt per game average. You need at least 2 teams to keep losing these games and and for Coventry to win the games against fellow strugglers.

    We've had a good run

The teams listed below have all spent time in the 3rd tier of English football since the last time City played at that level. Most of them are the same size or bigger clubs than City, with some being league champions or winning European trophies. I think it's time to accept we've had a good...

I'll be boycotting the game, like I have the rest of the season (apart from Blackpool).

    New Bid

Context of the new bid is vital. If talks have already taken place and the bid has been pretty much been invited by SISU, then the takeover could be completed within weeks. If however (which is far more likely), the bid remains an unwelcome one, then we could be in for months more negotiation...

AT on january transfer window !!!

Goals are an issue, however it's conceding them that's the problem. The biggest loss to our team has been Turner, both during his spell out injured last season and since he's moved on to Cardiff. Look at how he's transformed Cradiff's season since getting fit ! If we'd had Turner a few of the...

Damien Collins - time to make friends

What about an e petition re football club ownership. Ok, it wouldn't be specifically about Coventry, but with 100,000 signatures it would have to get debated in parliament.
