    Fan Village?

There are still plenty of places to get a drink though. Dhillons is 200 yards, 3 bars at the complex itself and 5 or 6 more within 15 mins. It's a lot better than it used to be, and better than many grounds tbf.

That's played every week in Dhillons. Never been sung on the stands mind..

It all comes full circle. Kids get older and you get your second wind. You'll be standing on the seats in block 15 again in no time.

Great day. I recall we were on MOTD that night and John Motson (I think) mentioned this at the start of the 2nd half.

As a seasoned veteran of ticket sale checking, I've noticed how Thursday is always a slow day, perhaps as it is after the postal cut off. Friday is always the busiest day by far, lots of people finish work early and head up in person. Stil hopeful for a decent turn out.

Well I wasn't wrong because tickets were taken off sale. There were people in this thread who had attempted to buy but couldn't and this was verbally communicated at the ticket office to somebody buying in person. If you raising this issue has resulted in a rethink, then maybe we should be...

My reply was entirely in keeping with the tone of your post, which questioned the legitimacy of this thread. What do you mean 'should have reached out directly'? To whom? This is just a discussion amongst ourselves about this latest intervention and previous measures. We are allowed to discuss...

I am quoting conurbation sizes as these are a truer reflection of the size of a place than 'city' populations which are often meaningless as they are determined by artificial lines on a map drawn by civil servants. You acknowledge that but seem to have come up with your own system of determining...

There is no example I am aware of where a decision has been changed though. Why are tickets sales still restricted in 14-16, there is no reason for it. When will that change come? All we see are more restrictions, more closed blocks, more netting, more steel fencing outside, more stewards, more...

All that was needed in 14-16 were ticket checks and enforcement. Restricting sales was not needed as has been proven, the unsold seats are empty every week, so there is no overcrowding and zero evidence of people sneeeking in without tickets. The ticket checks are working. Thay they continue to...

You've listed them all. There is no other reason. Man calls another man a wanker is not a reason. If it was, all football grounds would be closed permanently.

There was no decision to be made, but they made one anyway. Self-important, attention seeking wank puffins.

I struggle to understand those seeking to justify this. Are we that much of an outlier as a club that measures not in place anywhere else in the country are required here? 17 years after opening, without there ever being a single issue of note in that part of the ground, after a season with 0...

Club don't seem to care much, publicly at least. In his programme notes the other week DB was saying what a 'great relationship' the club have with them. It's almost as though he was saying we should be grateful that the whole of SC was not closed - it seems that was a very real prospect at...

..removed from sale for the rest of the season. Only a matter of time. SAG work their magic again.

Of course we have fans across the wider county of Warwickshire, but they are mainly people who left Coventry or who have strong family ties. We are not nearly as well represented as we might be. People born in these towns with no family ties just don't gravitate towards Coventry. The city itself...
