You can see what they're trying to do. They've pretty much lost the majority of their squad so I assume they're trying to bring in leaders/experience in every area of the pitch and build around them.

It won't be one in, one out though. If any players move on it'll only be on loan and the club would still have to shoulder a significant proportion of their wages.

The players that have been moved on haven't freed up a great deal of budget though. Pask, Jones, Drysdale and even Shipley all would've been relatively low earners.
