    Robins.

    Hamer bids

No but it suggests they were certainly making enquiries in the Championship for a striker. They were also looking at Lucas Joao according to the press.

    Transfer Shouts

It's only a guess but i'd wager Allen's contract isn't that modest. He was signed by Burton when they were in the Championship, so would've received a competitive salary when we brought him in in L1, most likely would've received an increase upon promotion, then of course was awarded a new...

    Hamer bids

£1m extra in turnover from the previous year.

    O'Hare bids

As said above. It entirely depends on the size of the fee the club receives.

    O'Hare bids

Even if it's just an opinion or guesswork it's probably not far from the truth. It's been exhausted I know but EFL loan looming, instalments on Gyokeres and Sheaf to pay, interest to SISU, Ryton pitches, bonuses for players and staff, unsustainable contracts for O'Hare and Hamer as well as...

    Hamer bids

ST sales would've generated only around £1m in turnover give or take. Even just to match that with kit sales, every season ticket holder would have to purchase the full kit - shirt, shorts and socks.

    Hamer bids

Not really. I've simply said the majority of our fanbase are way off with regards to their valuations. Which is more than likely true. Fans are quite clearly guilty of looking at previous inflated transfer fees paid in the past for Championship strikers and automatically believing Gyokeres...

    Hamer bids

No, he was questioning whether the fanbase are guilty of massively over-inflating valuations for our players when clubs seemingly aren't submitting similar sized bids to the one West Ham just had accepted for Downes. Which really answers itself.

    Hamer bids

He quite clearly wasn't referring to him - he was also quoted to have said £20-25m I believe. Middlesbrough have been linked with a plethora of strikers though so fans automatically assuming it's him is ridiculous, especially as there's not a chance we would've quoted anywhere near that figure...

    Transfer Shouts

Chesterfield's injury record last season was appalling so I wouldn't hold your breath.

    Transfer Shouts

To be fair Forest don't have a relationship with Turner so he's hardly going to ring up the club and ask if we're interesting in bringing in one of their players. The next best thing is to contact his counterpart at the Nottingham Post to see if they've heard anything. It's at least more...

    Hamer bids

Because if they had they would almost certainly be gone by now.

    Derby points deduction

You can see what they're trying to do. They've pretty much lost the majority of their squad so I assume they're trying to bring in leaders/experience in every area of the pitch and build around them.

    Transfer Shouts

It won't be one in, one out though. If any players move on it'll only be on loan and the club would still have to shoulder a significant proportion of their wages.
  16. K

    Transfer Shouts

The players that have been moved on haven't freed up a great deal of budget though. Pask, Jones, Drysdale and even Shipley all would've been relatively low earners.
  17. K

    Transfer Shouts

Yeah I'd imagine we probably only increased turnover by around £1m due to the increase in STs. The significance they have on the budget is in reality vastly overstated.
  18. K

    Transfer Shouts

Wasn't that on the basis of: if no one is moved out then no incomings will come in, rather than, there will be no incomings regardless of outgoings.

    Transfer Shouts

Christ what's their transfer policy over 30's only?
  20. K

    Transfer Rumour Louie Sibley

Not necessarily. I think it more likely just highlights is that the club is physically unable to reinvest the funds received from a sale at this point in time. Not ideal when apparently that's our 'model'.
