No not at all the French top flight is awful outside of a handful of teams at best it’s championship quality. The lad played a lot but isn’t of Hamer Quality.

Struggled at Bristol City and outside of a few teams the French Top Flight is equivalent to League One unfortunately.

The academy has more produced a lot more talent than just those three named. The u23s is what the majority of clubs have and it works. It’s a step up from u18s before the first team. You can’t afford to lose the academy and that production line.

Admins have focused on Hamer & Godden which makes me think neither are going anywhere. Think another forward is likely with Tavares 4th choice. Think the focus is surely on defence right now.

I’d like to see Anton Trusty on loan from Arsenal or Matt Miazga from Chelsea both CBs, that’s providing wages were right. Miazga just goes on loan every season and with the Chelsea link he would be good to get in.
