It's almost as if the Council and Higgs Trust paid for the ground to be built. They want paying back? The nerve! Why the hell should CCFC have the naming rights etc? I think some people are a bit simple.

Fisher: Most will be back by the third home game

Sounds good. Can we get hold of the nerve gas that destroyed your brain?

Fisher: Most will be back by the third home game

Any chance of any ideas Nick? It depresses me that you're a moderator. This lazy attitude towards ousting SISU is pathetic.

Lloyd McGrath - joins Coventry Utd

Totally agree with: - Coventry 1883 - Coventry Been suggesting them too when talking about a Phoenix club. We should start one just to make SISU pack up. No business plan without the fans.

Lloyd McGrath - joins Coventry Utd

Haha, just don't like that all of a sudden they've totally changed what they're about. It even says they were 'set up in protest at the Sky Blues move to Northampton'. We're they f*ck - anyone on this forum a few months ago know that they were set up well before anyone could have guessed we'd...

Lloyd McGrath - joins Coventry Utd

That article annoys me. Someone from 'Coventry United' came on here a few months ago and stated that it was not set up as a Pheonix club. Shit name, shit red kit.

    Ricoh

Not if the Council only sell the ground with a clause stating that the ground and club must be sold as a package in future. I'm sure that is what they'd insist upon.

Tennis balls - Sheffield United Game

We shouldn't throw anything, and we should stop those who try to. It's needs to be peaceful or the footballing world will lose any sympathy it had for us. We should focus on totally drowning out the stadium and commentators with noise from drums, horns and singing.

Tennis balls - Sheffield United Game

So anyone protesting against COVENTRY City playing home games in Northampton is an ACL rent boy? Bit stupid.

    Where do things stand now?

Could do if attendances stayed low, but if we had some good times (surely it's our turn), then there isn't enough parking IMO. Also the trains would make it a more attractive venue for events and for shopping etc. it'd massively outweigh a bit of a loss on parking I think.

    Where do things stand now?

There is a hell of a lot of value in developing the land around the Ricoh. The plan is for there to be hotels and other things such as more shops; not to mention there'll be a train station (eventually). Ideal for Haskell.

You couldn't hear us from the hill?

The Sky Sports reporter said the guys on the hill were making a racket, so it seems she could certainly hear them fine.

Tennis balls - Sheffield United Game

You cant go around throwing objects. I get that we're the only ones not acting like arseholes, but that is what makes the media and other supporters want to help us.

    match at Ryton today

I really like Barton's abilities, but think he's a lazy git. Look at the size of him. With those skills he should be Premier League.

    New kit.

Can one of you take a picture of the kit and post it please??
  16. @richh87

    Ricoh

I don't know how they could move on, as there's no sports team big enough to play there, and there'd be some huge building costs to redevelop our part of the arena. But if they did move on, and SISU liquidated, well then we would see the death of the club. If SISU start building a stadium...
  17. @richh87

    Where do things stand now?

That's a very interesting thought actually. The Council may have been unwilling to sell previously, giving no owner of the football club a chance to unite the two. By moving to Northampton there's still very little chance that SISU could buy the Rioch, but it's quite likely that a new owner...

    Mad Hatters in Cov telegraph

To be fair I actually really like this ad. They've always made me cringe with their attention seeking - but I think this is pretty funny.

    Mad Hatters in Cov telegraph

I'd give them 7 out of 10 in that case. "Must try harder"
