    Liam Kelly new three-year deal

Great to tie Kelly down to a longer deal. Hopefully Grimmer, Mcnulty and Bayliss to follow and I would be absolutely delighted. I think Doyle will play a fair bit, a year ago similar things were said about Doyle and he played practically every game, despite him bing 37 soon, he proved in the...

2018-19 Shirt Launch and Evening with Mark Robins - 29th June

I'm in the queue to get in and there is quite a few people in it at the moment. Slow moving. Can't see it starting at 7.30pm

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

We don't know the club have said that, that is just what Sky Sports have speculated and I imagine that 500k is well under our valuation of him. Every play at every club has a value. I believe he will stay .

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

Well we can ask the questions regarding McNulty and our other players with only a year left tonight at the evening with Robins. Hopefully a positive answer. For me keeping McNulty would satisfy me if it were to be the last piece of business we do this summer.

Derby County Friendly - 24th July

I think it's more of a case that Lampard saw us in playoff final and probably thought they would be a good test and team to play in pre-season.

Trying not to get carried away but...

So I dont think we are going to sell many at all. Last season we had been relegated and we kept hold of Willis, Stevenson and other players who only earlier the previous season had been subject to bids. George Thomas and Cian Harried were the only players who left and this January just gone...

Match Thread Coventry City - Newport County Match Thread - Saturday 19th Aug

Play same Team that started Grimsby barring any new injuries. I think 2-0 but again a tough game that will require the defence to concentrate and if they do for 90mins I think we will win. Also think this squad is far better than last season's, physically stronger and hopefully mentally...

Match Thread Grimsby Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 12th Aug

I would (barring any new injuries) play exactly the same team that started against Notts. I am confident of a win as with Nathan Clarke in defence any forward pass will have him flustered. Last season I went to that horrendous 3-1 home defeat to Swindon and genuinely that was one of the...

Pre Season Gallery / Greg Moorhouse on Trial

I indeed think we have a strong squad and with 2/3 more signings potentially a very strong squad with plenty of depth (something we lacked as well as obvious quality) I think Pearson signing or not depends on Jordan Turnbull, I think if Turnbull stays then Pearson may not be signed.

Pre Season Gallery / Greg Moorhouse on Trial

Agree with this. With the formation we are playing, Beavon, Biamou, Ponticelli and K Thomas and McNulty are certainly good options for that furthest forward role. I think a couple of attackers who can play in those 3 behind is where we need more depth.

    Final Transfer Market Dealings

I would be happy if we signed: Pearson as the CB Centre Midfielder Winger to play either of the two wide positions of the 3 behind the striker. I'm not sure we will sign another striker, with Beavon and Biamou and Ponticelli as the furthest forward I think more options for the three behind...

    Penalty Taker

I agree I think Pearson will be the other centre back signing, I think we need a pacey, goalscoring wide player. I think Thomas's future will be key for that position.

Your 11 to face Notts County.

Having gone to the friendly yesterday my starting 11 for Notts County would be: O'Brien Grimmer Willis McDonald Stokes Kelly Doyle Vincenti Mcnulty Jones (do think we need another option for the wide positions of the 3 behind the striker) Biamou

Anyone who goes to 'home' games next season is a mug

For me I want to support the club, the players but sadly its not Coventry City anymore, all I see is SISU and I refuse to support them so they can continue to ruin our football club. so it will be away matches for me also so I can support the team but not SISU.

    Tim Fishers Interview

I listened to it last night and I just found myself laughing at how pathetic he is. The utter tripe that he spouts is unbelievable. I agree with you though, i think he is sounding like a defeated, desperate little boy who knows he's not going to get what he wants but will moan about it anyway...

    Prediction time.

I think we will give it a real good effort. As everyone else has said keeping mcgoldrick is vital as we have finally managed to get a goalscorer. I think playoffs are definitely possible but the next 5 games are crucial as we are playing teams near the top of the league. PUSB!
