It's a bad away record - which I put down the the players bottling it: particularly the kids. On the other hand I think the home record makes up for it. So well done Andy :)

Yes the conclusion just HAS to be drawn doesn't it?! The change in formation can as much be put down to available personnel. For examle right now we don't have two wingers available so HAVE to play a narrower formation; I.e the diamond.

I'm not having it that the management weren't doing their homework on opposition earlier In the season. Harrison is very experienced, even being an England coach - there's no way. Yet again one quote (which i'm yet to see) has been blown out of all proportion.

    Norwood

It doesn't show that the age argument is nonsense though - only in certain cases where youngsters are incredibly gifted. Norwood has come from Man U - hardly your average young player. Having said that we have some good youngsters coming through and If we can keep them we might have some...

Jordan Clarke, a star in the making.....

Looks like we've got a really good academy. Really fortunate as without it we'd probably be down by now. If we can just get new owners who won't sell them all then we've got something to build a good team with.

I like the idea of putting this thread as a sticky - it might stop the other threads going off on a tangent.

Say what you will about Thorn - but there's nobody I'd rather have wheeling and dealing in the transfer market on such a non-existent budget. Surely we can all agree on that.

Thorn came out and said that did he? Or have you made it up.

Where Is your proof that Thorn doesn't? This is getting silly.

I was very critical of Jordan Clarke after he had a shocker positionally at Forest - due to inexperience. Since then he's got better and better and is proving me wrong. I favoured Christie due to his pace - but now i'm not sure who i'd go with. The way these kids have been brought through Is...

See, you're not taking it seriously. You simply don't get it. You think Beckham was running the show for Man Utd when he was 18? Er no, he was on loan at Preston. You need to physically and mentally develop. Now these kids have got talent - which is great, but the other aspects are more...

You need to make sensible points when having a pop at a manager who has us playing entertaining football, fielding an inexperienced side, with both hands tied behind his back and looking like he'll keep us up against the odds. Now, please clarify the ludicrous comment that all academy players...

So you think they were great moves by Thorn - that's great. So glad to hear so many fans singing Andy Thorn's name today. Really gave me hope for the intelligence and fairness of City's support.

And if they can't handle International football does the same apply genius?

You do know that Thorn got these loans in don't you? You make it sound like some sort of fluke / coincidence.
  16. @richh87

    Thorn

Yes - his ripped apart squad replaced with kids fresh from the academy should have done much better.

    Thorn

I'm shocked if that's true - because you usually twist everything possible to make the guy look bad. Pretending that all of the youngsters he's had to blood were ready for Championship football and that he is somehow failing us all being the main theme.

    Sisu you are a disgrace...

    Says the guy from Brighton.
