    Todays Protest Thread - LIVE

Firstly there's no way it was 9,000 - ever since SISU came along the attendances quite often seem way off as if they're on some kind of fiddle (would that surprise anyone?) Secondly; it's not about how many went - it's more about getting in the papers and on the news in order to further damage...

    Todays Protest Thread - LIVE

It was a really good turnout and went really well. Always some miserable sod who has to put a downer on things.

City arkwardness tomorrow and demonstrators be on your guard.

Duffy - I work in Investment Management and believe me investors are incredibly careful when choosing who to invest with. They will often base it on reputation and a sniff of bad publicity puts them off. We are causing SISU all sorts of problems with these articles in the media. The...

City arkwardness tomorrow and demonstrators be on your guard.

I see what you're saying - but no matter who took us over we'd have the same nervous thoughts. If we had 50 prospective owners to choose from we'd still be safest trusting in a City fan with his connections.

Save Our City sum it up nicely...

Yes. The problem is they know we wouldn't like their plans!

City arkwardness tomorrow and demonstrators be on your guard.

Thing is we, as fans, can't do due diligence on potential owners - all we can do is hope they are better. If I could choose one man to find investors and do all the due diligence for me then that man would surely be Hoffman. - He has the expertise required - He has incredibly wealthy...

Save Our City sum it up nicely...

Well said Dan! It really is making a difference. SISU will have a hard time attracting investors right now. Imagine a potential investor googling their name to check them out! :) The national media are printing stories on our plight and WILL be in attendance. To anyone who loves City then...

Save Our City sum it up nicely...

http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/542379848?-11214 To anyone still deciding what to do PLEASE protest. This is about the future of our club - not just one match. This is your chance to peacefully push SISU towards accepting the bid from Hoffman & co - a lifelong City supporter who genuinely wants...

    Premier League loan striker?

SISU care very much about their reputation - they need a good one or investors won't touch them. As for the "chances are we'd have got someone in boycott or not" are you kidding? This is SISU.
  10. @richh87

    Premier League loan striker?

Looks like SISU are trying to give fans a reason not to boycott and for that reason I hope it doesn't get done til after the weekend.

What does Thorn know about being Fit?

What a dumb comment. Alex Ferguson runs 10k every Saturday morning - just because that's what his players cover in a match. That's how it works right?

    ccfc on central news

Reckon it'd hit the headlines more if it did turn violent - hope it doesn't though.

    just got my cup tickets

I've got a season ticket and have had for the last 17 years running - so try again genius.

    just got my cup tickets

If they're are contemplating a bid then f*ck all people turning up might well make them think "oh shit things will only get worse".
  15. @richh87

    just got my cup tickets

There's a bid on the table - I genuinely don't get why anyone wouldn't want to help force it through. Just for the sake of one bloody cup game - we're not going to win the thing and are likely to lose to Southampton anyway whilst hardly being a glamour tie.
  16. @richh87

    just got my cup tickets

Apparently doing f*ck all is the way forward... What a defeatist attitude people have. SISU are killing the club right in front of your very eyes people. What happens when next season they cut the wage budget again to match the vastly lower income in League 1? We will get relegated to League...

    Boycott Update

No Tony - it's still a full boycott! The 15 minute thing should never have been mentioned as it has confused the message.
  18. @richh87

    Hoorraahhh

    Really is.

    Saturday's Boycott/Protest

Don't want to be controversial here; but I think if people haven't decided yet, and want SISU to leave, I think that they need to protest and not buy a ticket. A bid is claimed to be on the table - let's convince SISU to take it. Starving them of funds is the only thing that will really make...

    Saturday's Boycott/Protest

I'll be there plus the three I go with. None of us have tickets for the game and will get there very early as I think more supporters will be inclined to protest for at least the first 15mins if there's a big crowd doing it.
