Well if I rate King as a big loss (someone who looked a cut above the rest of the players on the pitch), then Gunnar is no 'big loss' as he offered next to nothing in an attacking sense and all he did was put in a shift each week. It wouldn't take much to surpass him.

Agree, he's currently ahead of those players - but i'd expect those two to surpass him in a year or 2.

What youngsters don't want to play here? Jesus, sometimes City fans just make stuff up to beat themselves over the head with.

    Mixed Feelings

Gunnar was a headless chicken who rolled around every time he got tackled and had the shittest long throw in i've ever seen. This isn't me being bitter at him leaving - he really wasn't ever that great. How many goals did he score/create? And it's not because he was protecting the back 4...

City Fans: take action now or regret it later

So he's trying to acquire the club - but you don't think if they left he'd take over?

City Fans: take action now or regret it later

:D Probably! But up until recently they DID allow any questions and just waited for someone to raise their hand. I'm confident that IF they sell then Hoffman's backers will be better for us than these guys. Just need SISU to piss off.

    Mixed Feelings

Quite possibly. Strikes me that me couldn't give a shit a lot of the time. When played upfront though he can score goals and when he does he seems to raise his whole game and work-rate. Think he's probably low on confidence from years of crap at Wolves and us, particularly when being played on...

City Fans: take action now or regret it later

They only allow season ticket holders these days - so that cuts out a chunk of the disenchanted support. They want to appear to be open with the fans, but only answer pre-agreed questions. Can't trust anything SISU do. I really believe any petitions/demonstrations etc we can do can only help...

At the risk of also misunderstanding you - in your final sentence are you claiming we have no ball playing defenders and midfielders? We certainly do have both. We need a decent loan upfront and Freddy and Platt fit IMO. Another midfielder wouldn't go amiss either but doubt it'll happen.

City Fans: take action now or regret it later

The silence from both parties suggests confidentiality agreements - as does Brody's disappearance off the face of the earth. Hoffman is most certainly not "full of shit". If he was then SISU would be in the press telling us there's nothing happening. This forum tomorrow: I've attended most...

Premiership football within two years, hopefully one ...

We're not a lower half of the championship club in terms of support, stadium or training facilities. Our first XI is not bottom-end IMO. It's our finances that are bottom-end, and that's because SISU haven't managed to secure ownership of the Ricoh. We have a very good fanbase just waiting...

heard from a very good source

Spot on. There are a lot of ill-informed opinions on here. The whole selling point of the hedge funds which SISU run is that they can make money in falling markets by going short rather than long.

Teach us oh wise one

I'm a bit late getting into this thread but wtf? When it is was his job to find new investment it was on SISU's terms with their flawed business plan. He left because they don't have out football club's future at heart, e.g they're willing to force a highly talented homegrown teenager out the...

    Nothing to be ashamed of

I'm sorry but Leicester will be getting a lot of clean sheets this season. They had 5 in midfield and a very expensive midfield and backline who were athletic and organised. Any team would have found it hard to break them down. It think a few people on here are ignoring this fact and need...

    Nothing to be ashamed of

How about just f*ck you SISU? I was pleased with us today. I think people are getting upset mainly because we lost to Leicester. Thorn and the boys are playing some great stuff. All we need now is SISU to piss off and things will be good.

    Nothing to be ashamed of

Haha like it about the open top bus parade and the babies. You're a funny guy! Seriously though - it was ridiculously over the top. Also - has anyone ever seen such a bunch of wankers and cheats?!
  18. @richh87

    anyone fall asleep?

This guy can't be for real! We played some great passing stuff. For f*ck sake man we played a team which has cost around 20mil over the last 2 seasons to put together. Leicester looked like they'd come for a draw. They put 5 in midfield and sat ridiculously deep. The rest of the division are...

    Transfer embargo

These are the tw@ts who claimed they had a meeting arranged with the council about the Ricoh; only for the council to immediately deny this. I don't care what anyone says, they are liars and don't care what happens to CCFC as long as they get some money back.

Gary Mcsheffery will score 20 goals this season

This. McSheffrey is perfect at the tip of the diamond as his movement is his best attribute. Keep him fit and we'll be ok this season IMO.
