Sisu = Pantomine Villian - Hoffman = Knight in shining armour

So what's the thinking here? Surely not that Hoffman didn't take the bid seriously enough to change the paper in the printer? SISU are being pedantic IMO. It's their prerogative but it's death by a thousand cuts under them and i'm starting to really detest them. They came here hoping to make a...

Hoffman will pay £1 for the sky blues if agreed

They need to be careful they don't price themselves out of a deal then ;)

Sisu = Pantomine Villian - Hoffman = Knight in shining armour

It isn't on headed paper because it isn't his offer and he doesn't want the backers to be known to SISU. If it was on the correct headed paper then SISU would instantly know who the backers are. It's not because Hoffman couldn't be arsed to get the headed paper out :D

    So what next..................

    20 quid!
  5. @richh87

    So what next..................

SISU are surely desperate to sell and are just lying to maximize their return. You get offered a lot more money for saying things 'aren't for sale'. Look at the Modric situation!

    Where's Snozzer

I reckon it's true! I also reckon Snozzer's busy signing a letter on headed notepaper... :thinking about:

Hoffman will pay £1 for the sky blues if agreed

I'll have to bow to your experience there mate - I don't have a clue about such things! I think Hoffman's backers may well come as a shock when revealed. He's already said they're well known. Geoffrey Robinson involved again maybe??? Why can't SISU give an indication of what figure they'd...

    Who is lying?

Ok, maybe i'm looking at it from a different point of view to the rest. The way I see it, if they're businessmen of any calibre they won't march in making an offer SISU can't refuse. It's like saying if you bought a house you'd 'make an offer the owner couldn't refuse'. You wouldn't. You'd...

    Who is lying?

I'm a bit surprised by the negativity towards the Hoff here. This man has supported City all his life and already been on the board for a considerable amount of time. Add to this he is extremely successful in the financial world. What's to doubt? His motives? Well he loves the club like we...

    Clouting on CWR

Quite! What the hell are SISU hoping for? Maybe they think if they stall Hoffman he'll become worried about our lack of transfer activity and give them a few million quid. SISU are on borrowed time.

You know when things are starting to get really serious

Unfortunately GMK is littered with trolls posing as CCFC supporters and you can't talk about footy there (when the thing's running properly anyway). Sky Blues Talk is a much better forum!

    CWR tomorrow

What's FB? Facebook? This is all getting too much for me.

I have had just about enough............

That's a great idea! Yes, if I win i'm going to do that. Maybe just my face with the A444 using my mouth as a tunnel. I'd definitely make the train station happen though and promote the club a lot better. You could walk around Coventry City centre and not even know Coventry has a football...

I have had just about enough............

Yeah, I guess it's just down to the definition of 'care'. It'll all be fine when I win the euromillions on Tuesday and name the ground after me. Luckily all I have to do is remove the 'O' ;)
  15. @richh87

I have had just about enough............

The problem is that they view us as a project - through the eyes of accountants/number crunchers. As you say - with other owners it's their hobby. If they don't see buying the Ricoh as a good idea then they're not going to do it, emotion won't come into it as it would with many other chairmen...
  16. @richh87

I have had just about enough............

Ranson stated in fans forums that the investors who had funded our 'project' would remain nameless, but that they included some people EXTREMELY high up on the rich list; so it isn't that they don't have the money IF they wanted to put it in. Rich people such as Steve Gibson or Dave Whelan...

I'm really looking forward to August 6th.

I'm not looking forward to the Leicester game - the money they've spent is ridiculous. I can't wait for the rest of the season though - i've got faith in a Juke/Freddy Partnership. Our top scorer this year will be McSheffrey - he'll wreak havoc from the tip of the diamond - like he did towards...

thorn"no point in rushing for signings"

Westwood is a very good goalkeeper but he has one big weakness - and that is shots from outside the box. I've got some mates who support Forest and meet up with them each time we play each other. This year we met in the casino for the game @the Ricoh and while reading the program they came...
  19. @richh87

I have had just about enough............

Have to disagree with the bit about Ranson. Just how did he almost get us into administration? It wasn't through buying expensive players that's for sure! If SISU had stuck to their original gameplan of putting a young cheap side together with players like Fox, Dann and Westwood and buying...
