In The Wheel in Courthouse Green there is a picture of our team photo in 2007/08. Dowie was the manager. Obviously none of those players are here now but interestingly enough Danny Ireland, who has just left us, is in the team photo!

Well this is best described as his breakthrough season after his injuries last season. He is one of our key players.

If we do get promoted this season then he will be only under contract for a few months and will lose him for nothing. We have offered him a new contract and he has turned it down, if he dosen't want to play for us in the long term then we might as well sell him and get some money to replace him.

Yes I remember watching that when I was a kid. He came to the ring in a City shirt and had tiger print hair. I think it was an undercard to a Prince Naseem fight although I could be wrong. RIP (if true of course).
