    Transfer Rumour Billy Sharp

Sharp scored 3 goals playing for his hometown club in a promotion winning team that would ordinarily dominate gains and be firing more crosses into the box. If he comes here he won't get as many goal scoring chances as he would have got playing for blades, we need somebody who can provide...

    Transfer Rumour BNC

BNC grew in confidence as the season progressed, he's good but probably not good enough for a top 6 premier club like Arsenal. would have him back

    Luke Mcnally

Some players hit the ground running like COH and others such as BNC take time to get going, don't think Tyler Walker ever got going. The problem when you are replacing so many players that are expected to start you need them all to be hitting the ground running.

    Pre season has begun!

I recognise Vik is almost gone but please keep Hamer, made me smile just seeing his picture

    Luke Mcnally

Robbie Keane came after the season had started and Huckerby was moved on but a pre-season will be less effective if lots of key players are joining after it has finished

    Luke Mcnally

considering the volume of players that we need to get in incl 3 centre backs , a right back, 2 strikers I would have expected more progress considering season starts in a month

How optimistic are you feeling about next season?

Since Robins came back in 2017 we have been on an upwards trajectory, despite being relegated we won the JPT . Its going to be very difficult to match last season. But in this league trying to consolidate our position ie mid-table may be a challenge. Not convinced DK is anything special...

Doug King live on air Monday

I too have my doubts, its not that I don't appreciate his efforts but he was being lauded on here as our savior as it coincided with a magnificent run by the team but although we achieved miracles with a low wage squad relative to our competitors, to repeat will require astute signings but...

    Transfer Rumour Zak Swanson

I’m still very cautious about Dougs millions!!! Any purchases will be after vics & Hamers sales happy to be proved wrong

    Transfer Rumour Panzo coming back?

Panzo struggled for confidence after the Wexham defeat sending off, great first half of 22/23 but struggled post Wexham - I think his confidence was sot, grateful that goal was disallowed rightly for handball as would have had a damaging impact on his career / confidence. Doyle just grew in...

    CT Article…Sorry, it’s bollocks

All that we achieved from the Norwich defeat onwards had nothing to do with the change of ownership, pure coincidence, had he invested in the squad we may not have looked so threadbare at Wembley.

    CT Article…Sorry, it’s bollocks

I'm a bit dubious about King, I like many others were glad to see the back of SISU and like how King conducts himself, especially dismissing the SISU fantasy stadium at Warwick Uni. But the team’s achievements last season has nothing to do with DK

    Tom O'Connor Wrexham

Played Rotherham in autumn 86/87 - bought both Emerson & Smith, Emerson was good but never got over the injury at Sheff Wed in the league, the week before we played them in the quarter final - I think it was Gary Megson that did him

    What is happening?????

A general comment that may want to be viewed s a conspiracy theory The multi billionaire Mike Ashley has no interest in just owning a stadium. Doug King has not got much to invest into the club - he seems a good competent guy with a fair better approach to PR etc.. but he will always be open...

    RIP OldSkyBlue58

Condolences to his family, he was a great contributor to this site, very insightful and remained balanced and calm when all around including me got so angry with the SISU regime. RIP Old SkyBlue58

    Hull crowd

Newcastle and Sunderland have a much larger diaspora than Coventry - and because so many leave the area they maintain the links to the club as part of the heritage / identity. Leeds - growing up in the 70s plenty of Leeds fans in Cov as they were a very successful club Gloucestershire /...
