    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

Predictably so. It was Linnell being reasonable that was the true surprise!

Just listened to the phone-in. Linnell was quite reasonable.

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

You just read threads about him ... and post in them ... not caring less?

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

Posting the BBC guidelines is all well and good, but what has he said about SISU or to the callers that breaks those guidelines? Not saying he hasn't ... would just like to see it in print.

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

I don't know about re-alignment. He just strikes me as an opinionated, Daily Mail sort. I've got no issue with any BBC broadcaster playing devil's advocate - and thus they should be defending SISU more often than not. It's just the quiet insults that won't do and betray a lack of impartiality...

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

Say what you will about the quality of Linnell's broadcasting, but this 'SISU puppet' stuff is just more paranoid horseshit from the usual suspects. I didn't see such accusations being lobbed around when he was crucifying callers & texters who wanted Thorn out ...

    Are SISU heading for forgiveness

Because it was all milk and honey before they arrived?
  13. Colonel Mustard

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

Fair play to Linnell - he does unite CCFC fans.

    Are SISU heading for forgiveness

A peculiar idea of one-upsmanship. 'Now' was then. It is a comment I am happy to stand by. And you seem to miss the broader point of my comment, which was the club was facing a future in L1, deep debt, administration - almost no different to where we are now, except this time we don't know if...

What we all said where will we finish last August

To be fair, he wasn't that far off the mark. He said "Start is critical and if we win our first game that should remove fears of away form early. Most of the early games are winnable. So promotion is what I am going for." Take off those first seven games under Thorn and Shaw, and CCFC have...

    Mark Robins

This thread represents one of the better arguments for SISU needing to leave the club. While they remain here, we'll continue to hear the Bizarro World arguments that John Sillett is a traitor, Andy Thorn was a good manager, Mark Robins was a loyalist & clairvoyant, and that the club ought to be...

You need to pray to a higher deity than that: one that is not just anti-SISU but pro-new ownership.

Pat's a good 'un. Long been based in the midlands, knows the ins and outs of most of the clubs in the area.
