The articles of association for ACL state that both shareholders had equal rights, and both shareholders had to agree to a sale of shares to anyone else, in other words both had a right to veto a sale. You can read this for yourself on the companies house website, no need to thank me.

I think in future, when train tickets are involved, you should set up a poll and we can vote for which tickets you should buy, I don't think many will vote for the option of buying 2 tickets on the same train, but only 1 of them first class.
