    I didn't know untill earlier..

Great pity we're not getting a transfer fee for him. Should have sold him sooner. Not the world's worst centre back. Seemed to lose his way.

    Cookie for Celtic?

Rangers & Celtic might get big crowds at home - though judging by the bits I've seen on tv even their gates are slipping. But when you see such a cracking player as Robbie Keane playing in front of 8,000 at the likes of Falkirk, what a waste. Scottish football is so unbalanced. We all know that.

    Coventry 0-1 Derby (Post-match discussion)

We were clueless. Clinton worked his socks off. Holding the ball up brilliantly. He gets absolutely no service at all. Clingan is basically on his own in midfield. Deegan isn't ready yet. Gunnar is a pale shadow of last season. He's 20 so he can develop. I've changed my mind about John Stead...

    Best game I´ve seen

Nice story, was at that game too. It was a rout wasn't it. Eric Black got us playing entertaining football. He is definitely the manager that got away thanks to that inept board at the time. Going back think Norwich 5-4 in the mid 1970s. Boxing Day. Standing on a freezing Kop. Sticks in my mind...

    60's

1960s, Hudson, Jimmy Hill, Rees, etc etc, fun football. A club on the up that always listened to their fans. Who turned up in numbers. It slowly started to go wrong when Hill left.

    Fairs Cup 1970-71

Nick, Drogba, Lampard. Oh they're not so bad. We should have played in Europe in 1987 of course, but the events in the Heysel stadium put paid to that. Rough on City. That Euro team of City's doesn't look so bad from here. Top players like Mortimer, Carr, Neil Martin, Ernie Hunt. Players that...

    Fairs Cup 1970-71

Bit of a late reply. The team for home game v Trakia was Glazier, Coop, Smith, Machin, Blockley, Strong, Hunt, Carr, Martin, O'Rourke, Clements. It changed a little for return. Glazier, Coop, Bruck, Clements, Blockley, Strong, Hunt, Carr, Joicey (Rafferty sub), O'Rourke, Alderson. Against...

    Books?

Are you looking for a history of the club? The best is COVENTRY CITY: A COMPLETE RECORD 1883-1991 compiled by Rod Dean. Big hardback. But its expensive at over £30 +. COVENTRY CITY: A HISTORY IN 50 MATCHES by Jonathan Strange is good. And much cheaper. £12+
