    Summer Transfer Window

Both could be true. We want to sign him and Palace want to keep him. His agent may have leaked this story to help get the deal they want from Palace.

    Summer Transfer Window

By Alan Nixon Crystal Palace are fighting to keep young right back Caleb Kpohra - with Frank Lampard’s Coventry heading the queue. Kpohra, 18, has already made his first team debut for Eagles but has yet to sort out a new long term deal. Coventry want to offer Kpohra a quicker route to...

    Summer Transfer Window

Dropping out of the top division just as media revenue exploded was the nail in the financial coffin …. The rest was window dressing

    Captains

I suspect it will be Grimes next season. I’m hoping the squad has improved over the summer to the point some of this seasons captains are not playing enough to be considered for captain.

Match Thread Coventry City - Sunderland Match Thread - Saturday 15th Mar

A lot of talk about Grimes being too deep and operating like a third central defender. It’s obvious this is because the distribution of Thomas and Kitchin is poor. If we improve on this pairing in the summer we could expect to see Grimes afforded more opportunity to play further ahead of the...

    The winner

Saddest thing in that clip is the grown men not celebrating with each or other city fans as they are too busy giving V’s to the Stoke fans.

    The winner

I was within 10ft of the dugout …. The players and staff genuinely looked shocked at the noise and scenes in the crowd.

Match Thread Coventry City - Stoke City Match Thread - Saturday 8th Mar

That Cov Pod calling it wrong again …. “Robins don’t hang around to shake every players hand.” At full time the coaching staff went to Robins to shake his hand ax did a couple of the subs. He walked down the tunnel long before the players came off the pitch.

    Stoke player ratings

Goal aside, a big moment I know, Thomas was poor today. His decision making and distribution were miles off it. Frank was going ballistic on the Touchline at him.

    Doug King out

Yep. It’s too early to say Frank will be a success in the medium term but by god he has been to date. I don;t care how loyal you are to Robins, and i think he was fab for us, no one can suggest Robins would have got the same degree of response.

    Middlesbrough last game

As an unashamed footballer lover I benefit from the fact that matches are on at different times / days. I can still watch Cov and get my share of premier league matches too ( albeit on tv ) My winter Sundays would not be the same now without the TV matches. We can’t have it both ways .

    Cov v Stoke

The idea that any fan is torn on Saturday is beyond bizarre. We need to carry on winning. I hope Robins gets a huge reception 10 mins before kick off then I hope we spank his Stoke side by 5. being grateful for his fabulous historic contribution should not he at the expense of the present or...

Podcast Ep 32 - Cov's accounts discussed with football finance expert Kieran Maguire

That’s not my recollection of him. I think he had a money ball approach ahead of time which the investors initially supported and then stopped. My criticism of him would be one of self interest but i don’t think his strategy was wrong. It’s been copied many times since.
