Let’s keep it in perspective …. Frank has got off to a brilliant start but the idea that he might be a replacement anytime soon for proven managers like Thomas Frank, Silva etc is just silly.
Lampard has certainly made a difference to the number of players getting into the box … the wide players attack the back post and and 2 of the central midfielders get into the box as well. This is one of the biggest attacking changes.

What didn’t you like about his character as a player ? He was Hugely successful, loyal to Chelsea, incredibly hard working, respected by his peers and various world class managers, and made the headlines on the back of the papers not the front.
I think we have to be top tier from an academy perspective or consider closing them which would be very sad. They only make economic sense if you can unearth the odd jewel and retain them to become pro’s. Developing 100’s of boys to lose the jewels at 15 ifor minor compensation isn’t sustainable.
I have no idea whether Frank will prove to be a good manager in the long run but for now I can see the improvements he’s making and I’m impressed with the bond he’s built with a very sceptical and angry fan base.
