The safe standing and moving the away fans has played a massive part. I also don’t understand the pre match ‘many men’ nonsense. Hard to build a natural pre game buzz with that rubbish playing
Feel Lampard isn’t learning any lessons when trying to see out a game. It’s crazy that a player with all that experience and having played under Mourinho, hasn’t picked up any nous at all.
If that chance in the dying moments yesterday hits the back of the net, it would have been fully on him...
The stat is quite misleading though. Twice yesterday Dasilva won the ‘duel’ but only headed the ball 2 foot in front of him and straight to Mccrorie. I don’t expect Dasilva to win ‘aerial duels’ but I expect him to have a plan to deal with them as MVE seems to.
My bad, a coupe of my pals and my cousin got banned I guess they had the same IP as me. Promise this is the only account I have now, apologies to anyone banned because of me
NTT20 have back us to lose to nil at 5/1. Sighting that our attacking data is trending downwards and Bristol City suit playing against teams with a high line.
I can see us either losing 1-0 or equalising very mate in the game
Agree in regards to time of year. I wouldn’t bother with Paterson, Thomas or anything like that nor would I be pursuing Rak Sakyi or letting go of Lati and BTA.
I don’t see the benefit of signing anyone who won’t be here in a years time.
Under Robins certainly. Under Lampard he was playing high and left in possession. Out of possession it was a 4-4-2 in possession it was something like:
Thomas Binks Dasilva
Eccles Sheaf
MvE Sakamoto Rudoni EMC
Bassette
Struggling to get my head around this. Guessing he’ll be our 10 and left side back up with Wright moving up front to replace Asante. Makes little sense to me
I’m still confused as to why it matters. What does matter is King clearly values his opinion and has get him in his job. Let’s hope he can start to find some decent new targets. There will always be some misses regardless.
Whether or not King signed Austin is irrelevant, the fact is that he’s still here and his opinion is clearly well respected by King as we seen at the fans forum. King could quite easily have released him along with Robins and Boateng but instead has him by his side.
I personally believe Austin...
Players like Harry Darling, Lewis O’Brien etc are incredibly experienced for their age and could be ideal to come in and raise the quality levels. Of course they may not be available but that’s the type of signing I would be happy with us paying slightly over the odds for.
Even Holding I could...
Agreed, I keep saying it but we should focus on just signing one of those players this window ready for the summer. I worry if we let go of Lati and BTA, we’re going to be scrambling trying to sign 3/4 players. Makes little sense to me
