    Seasons End

So, in around 8 weeks time the season is over. Time to evaluate what is going to happen to the club next season. Will there be any future and if so where will the club be playing? Despite all the chest thumping, finger wagging and moral high ground some things are a safe bet; - sisu do not...

    Jordan Clarke

Been critical of him in the past but had an excellent game today. Man of the match in a back four where the other three all struggled defensively.

    Tony Benn

I have to be honest and say that I failed to find anything politically I could really agree with regarding Tony Benn but he was an admirable orator and passionate politician. Some of his writings, particularly regarding his late wife, are extremely moving and highly recommended. It amuses me...

    A Question for The Accountants

I am interested in a hypothetical situation here. If you have a business and you have another business that we are told is totally independant from the first and they ask you to get a loan for them for £14 million over 40 years and you managed to source this at 4.8% per annum would you advise...

Proud of Sisu and Tim Fisher

Is it so wrong to be proud of Sisu and Tim Fisher for the actions they have taken so far. Firstly they saved the club when it was about to fail. Then paying all of ACL’s mortgage when it was unable to stand on its own. Then standing up to a council that offered the worst rental deal in the...

So what would an alien learn today?

What an interesting dialogue today amongst supporters. I wonder if an alien intercepted our site today what view would they form of our supporters? Well I think they may have a few thoughts; Coventry supporters aren't interest in the score at games. They are far more interested in the...

    Overseas signings

Having a chat with someone down the pub tonight and we reckon in our premier league days at least 90% of outlet overseas signings were total rubbish. Other then ndlouv, possibly hadji and Roland neilson we are struggling with anyone decent. Plenty of tripe though!

    Ready to go

Last weekend I posted the petition on the Sunderland website. For those who witnessed that experience via my link it was an interesting experience - it shows prejudice, hatred, total single minded devotion to one cause. It leads me to ask myself some questions regarding "typical" fan...

    Better than the Sunday Papers

Go on - tomorrow read and digest all of this. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/without-fans-there-is-no-football.875835/

    Positive transfer window

So from my reckoning we had 2 leave and 5 come in in January. Plus 3 to the squad. Those who had mass hysteria in August and January look predictably wrong as usual - and Clarke only actually left as he forced the issue.

    The Bridge II

Its hardly colourful and it certainly is not cheerful but I'm glad that a second series has been commissioned. I had some reservations that they would struggle to replicate with success the terrific first series but they have. Hooked after the first couple of episodes this beats any other crime...

    Most inspired signing ever

On a more positive vein than the worst 11 who was the most inspired signing that really influenced the club. I'm only asking this as I quoted a name the other day to some friends and they thought I was on the wind up (they don't know me well) We were discussing not expensive signings but...

How will they allocate the arsenal tickets

Could be interesting. Crawley town coming up. Two tickets for every attendee at that game to reward loyalty? If I was fisher that's exactly what I'd do.

I'm starting a New Andy Thorn Thread!

Well a couple of threads yesterday went well off topic and ended up discussing my favourite (or should I say least favourite) subject. Many will know my views on thorn. Inept beyond belief, defeatist, clueless, lacking any motivational ability and utterly incapable of communication. He is...

    Players have wages slashed

Just heard from the barmaid down the dog and duck whose best friend happens to drive past Northampton once a week that the players have been told they need to have their wages halved to pay for Tim fishers mince pies. As I've posted it on here it must be true. That's how it works isn't it?

We should support the new stadium

No objections. Just accept the design, accept the capacity and accept its location outside the city. Be very positive and tell sisu to go for it with 100% fans backing.
  19. Grendel

It's confirmed - 12,000 stadium is more than enough.

As the survey is clearly gospel it did say around 20% of supporters will not return if sisu are here. That means even at the Ricoh gates will be 8,000 at best. So in a new stadium even lower. Looks like they need to fix at this level.

    Coventry Athletic

Isn't it time we formed a new team? Only worry is the Ricoh big enough for the fan base its bound to attract?
