100% this. Cba for that every 6 months instability bollocks.
I’ll never understand some of the language used towards him each time we lose a few games by some. Thankfully they’re still the minority. Imagine how depressing shit would be after a few losses with any other manager. Fuck that.
Only woke up in time for the second half (it was a 2.45am kick off where I am, I’m not lazy) but all played very well. Wright looked to have a different mentality, epitomised by that tracking back tackle.
Right, back to sleep a happy man!
Ridiculous everyone getting their knickers in A twist over Dovin 😂 There are a whole host of non-performance related reasons why he may not be playing.
For the record though, he hasn’t kept a clean sheet in the league this season… surely Robins can try and change things that aren’t working...
Saved you all the time looking. The funny thing is if we’d offered him a shorter contract the same people probably would’ve been moaning that we don’t tie our players down for long enough.
The problem the midfield have had this season is movement in front of them. When they get it centrally there are only Simms and Rudoni that they could pass to that would be considered “progressive” passes.
Simms makes no offers and Rudoni never really gets into any interesting pockets so the...
I think the total opposite of this. Eccles is undervalued precisely because we didn’t spend £2m
Torp has been 10x worse than Eccles this season but gets a much more lenient time of it because we paid £2m for him so he must be better than Eccles who just happened to be living nearby as a kid.
I’d be really sad to see Palmer go. I find him a really fun player to watch - yes he’d lose possession when trying to create at times but he could also do / see things no one else in the squad could do / see.
plus we’ll always have this.
Ok cool. I was arguing with someone that said if we were still 8th after 10-15 games “he’ll be gone”. I don’t think he will and sounds like you agree with me too
