Match Thread Portsmouth FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 21st Dec

Sheaf was very poor. He kept overcomplicating things on the ball, when the thing that makes him so great when he’s in form is the way he does the simple/basic things well.

    Songs We No Longer Sing

It was such a minority that comments generally about scousers because of it are pointless. Moreover it was a case of Heysel being the straw that broke the Camel’s back rather than the only incident which caused English fans to be banned

    Match Thread Home game atmosphere

The atmosphere has got much worse and is now poor, but even if it was alright i’d still want getting rid of the drum. Need organic chant creation, as I say it’s the same songs on and on and for too long

    Match Thread Home game atmosphere

Yeah at first, but if we got rid of it by say 5 games in it would improve because people would start chants without mr big bollocks dictating it

Yeah I agree with that mate and have experienced that exact thing too but the drum doesn’t help is my point, makes it even worse

    Match Thread Home game atmosphere

He spends half the game starting the same songs. Always sky blue army, adeadeado, we love you and since i was young. The latter two we shouldn’t sing full stop. The former two he starts far too often and forces to go on for too long. Not suprised people don’t want to join in, he’s shit

    Match Thread Home game atmosphere

We need to fuck off the drum and get people to start songs naturally again, otherwise it’s just whenever he can be arsed and he always drums the same shite songs on and on

    Frank Lampard Rumours

I think he was the manager who started Simms up front on his own at Old trafford and Anfield but not other than that
  9. TwistAndShoutCCFC1987

Right who's the next manager then?

He’s gone now. What is the actual point of saying this. Let’s move on. Yes he was possibly the greatest manager we’ve ever had. But comments like this just don’t help at the minute.

    Which players you taking

92 and it isn’t close imo. Imagine that team in 5 a side
  12. TwistAndShoutCCFC1987

Right who's the next manager then?

He’s not even flavour of the month. How many on here had heard of him before the link? I hadn’t

    Atmosphere

True. Home games never feel ‘big’ anymore like they did when there was 4.5k away fans right next to the corner. Shame as of course in other ways it’s far more beneficial to have as many home fans in as possible
  14. TwistAndShoutCCFC1987

    Atmosphere

We need some new songs. Drummer spends half the time he can be arsed trying to start either SBA, Since I was young and We love you. The latter two are utterly shite and tinpot and the former we sing far too much (effective when a lot are singing it but annoying when about 4 or 5 are constantly...

Match Thread Preston vs. Coventry City - Match Thread - Sat 19th Oct

Sheaf to Robins: no, no don’t drop me boss, please don’t drop me, I’ve still got it somewhere, I’ve not lost it, I’ve just misplaced it
