It’s worrying because ACL could drag this out all season in theory while waiting for a mystical buyer who wants to take on all the debts. UNLESS there is something agreed already behind the scenes. I’ve no background knowledge in all this stuff so purely speculation.

The way that I see it is whatever cash they do have they will have to weigh spending/investment of it against all the other opportunities available. They are a hedge fund and need to make the best return on capital they can. Unlikely to put any of their “own” money into a stadium, IMO.
