Right back from Spurs for U23s.

They can’t afford it and key word there is investment. Chucking a few million into the squad to try and make the playoffs would be a gamble. Can people just stop with this idea that SISU can just throw a few extra million in hoping we would make the play offs. It’s tiresome, head in the sand...

Yeah aside from Eccles I’m not sure they have the quality but as above it would be great to see one break into the squad proper and be proven wrong.

Would be great to see a youngster really break through and establish themselves again.

I see the tone these is getting a bit more realistic, acknowledging the comms have been awful and that there’s a chance they won’t see their money again.

Maybe the lucky to be alive comment wasn’t referring to a spat with another player but something like alcohol/drug abuse? Maybe we’ll never know. Regardless, if he has an issue and has asked for help hopefully he receives the correct support.
