    Next Season's Season Tickets

As I understand it the intention is to hold prices at this season level - but these plans are on ice until all the disputes are sorted

    Next Season's Season Tickets

If Swindon was the worst game you have been to you have many many worse games to come - been watching City for over 40 years and the number of dire matches outweighs the greats but the crap fades from the memory quickly and the great games remain. Its those great games that keep you going...

Who Will New Manager Be? Ask Waggott Tonight

Steve Waggott, the man tasked with finding a new manager, is the guest speaker at the Sky Blue Trust open meeting tonight, upstairs at the Squirrel, Greyfriars Lane, Coventry, CV1 2GY. Meeting is open to all, members and non members, starts at 7.30 but I would advise people too arrive a bit...

    Next Season's Season Tickets

For value I believe our tickets are very comparable with other clubs and the club has put in place easy payment schemes etc to make them accessible for most. Whatever the price there will be someone who cannot afford it - sad but true. I doubt the season ticket delay has anything to do with...

    Administration or Liquidation

Just thought I would do a bit of digging as to the differences etc as oracle Linnell was so desperate to convince people that it would be liquidation and not administration. If a firm goes under Administraion it continues trading, usually in the hope of selling it as a going concern but...

    Well, Well....

Factually SISU did not sell the Arena to ACL. CCFC sold its 50% of ACL to the Higgs Charity before SISU came in, this was in the Robinson era. The sale price was I understand £6.5m and this bailed out CCFC at the time. This sale is why CCFC receive none of the income from the F&B etc.

    AFC Coventry

I believe you are spot on there Mr Ferret - exactly what happened with Rangers, applied to stay in Prem but clubs voted against it. League teams accepted them.

    Four in the frame

The man who knows is Steve Waggot - come to the Trust open evening at the Squirrel, Greytfriars Lane, Cov 7.30 Monday night and ask him in person. Any one who has spent any time in Steve's company will know he is not a SISU puppet but a real football man who is happy to chat about the game all...

Middle East consortium reveals plans for £1.5bn takeover of Arsenal

So I want to have a world class sports car company - do I buy Ferrari for a few billion and have it from day one or buy ailing Noble Sportscars for a few million and build it up over the next ten years pumping in more and more millions hoping to challenge Ferrari one day?

Sisu -do the decent thing and go!!

Politicians fickle? Football fans fickle? Blimey you learn a lot coming on here on a Sunday morning ;)

    AFC Coventry

This was an issue for Newport County and they had to purchase back their name - for a short while they were Newport AFC - and I think they paid about £8k for the name. Some of it would depend on how petty or hard nosed SISU would be, maybe with Joy telling us just how important the community is...

    AFC Coventry

My reading of the "opportunity" is that no one out there is interested in buying the football club simply as a football club what they would be interested in is buying into the whole complex and the development opportunity there. The charity is desperate to sell its 50% of the complex and put...

    AFC Coventry

The only point Mr Ferret is that the title/brand/trademark "Coventry City Football Club" is listed as an asset in the debenture held by Arvo so would need to be bought off Arvo/SISU.

    AFC Coventry

Ibrox belonged to the club and when it went to the wall the "newco" bought up the assets including Ibrox. The titles are technically oldco's and the recent case which wasted a huge amount of money issuing a fine to a bankrupt oldco could have taken the titles away from oldco. New co was allowed...

We can still make the playoffs

Our chances of making the playoffs are about the same as QPR's of staying in Prem - possible mathematically but not likely. And knowing this team even if we did get into play offs we would manage to throw the opportunity away.

    Players Paid from "Emergency Funds"

Doubt the players care where the money comes from as long as it ends up in their bank accounts - as Carsley said last week players are inherently selfish and as long as they get paid (and under football creditors rules they get preference over everyone) they won't be bothered. Yesterdays defeat...

    Million dollar question

Like I said those are the facts - not saying who is right and who is wrong as in truth there is wrong on both sides, with half truths, semantics, lies, misinformation etc and the most important entity in all this is the one that is being forgotten in the petty squabbling and that is CCFC and the...

    Million dollar question

Not sure if you actually want answers but the facts are: ACL have received £800,000k CCFC have not paid any rent CCFC have paid £300k match day fees ACL have accessed the Ecsrow account (this is not and never was CCFC's money) which they are legally entitled to do and taken out money to...

    Million dollar question

Mr Ferret - just for clarity the club did not deposit the money into the Escrow account. The money in that account was from an FA/Football Foundation grant whilst the Ricoh complex was being built. It was going to be £1m grant but because by the time it was awarded the stadium was already built...

    Transfer Embargo from midnight

I think the council realises the value of the football team to the city - lets be honest (not a phrase used v often in this whole fiasco!) if this was any other business but the football club with holding their rent they would have been wound up months ago and both sides know it and it has...
