I’d rather him stay, can change a game for sure but I do wonder if his rather feisty and impatient nature has dictated that he plays a more regular and guaranteed part in matches. If rumours are correct then the club may need to economise on his wages to facilitate any more incomings.

What will the crowd be for this ? I see Norwich have sold out and blocks 11 through to 23 have maybe a couple of hundred seats left . Blocks 25/26 only areas with a lot of unsold seats.

Some people saying , lets get knocked out the League Cup from the off. One wouldn’t be Doug for sure, @ £30 a ticket and all the ancillary spend this will bring, this is a million pound plus game for the club ! Every Pound spent in Cov and not Brum ( shopping ) and South Warks ( dining and bars ) is a good pound. A night out is what you make it and things can start to snowball.

Very impressed with the look of this lad. Not just his touch and energy but his immediate confidence and personality at how he told his fellow players where to be and where he wanted it playing. Laid one on a plate for Asante who missed it and didn’t impress me half as much as this kid.🤔

We should care about all the cups, last season proved that. The lower crowd was always going to happen due to the date, just playing them but more importantly the ridiculous idea of funnelling everyone through a ticket office. It must have put several thousand off going through that nonsense.

Job done really, dominated possession and chances. We have a really strong squad overall, the best in decades. Sheaf just a class above, even in that short cameo. So much talent though who all can play their part in a memorable season. 4 games unbeaten, bring on Norwich 💪
