    Really? Why?

    Eric Black

I know we have no money blah blah blah, but he has no job after Brucie left Sunderland. Surely he wouldn't be that expensive as he has never managed other than us. I know he was treated pretty shit but I'm sure he realizes that that was all down to the owners at the time. I know its a bit of...

Statistically, is this close to City's worst run ever?

Yeah, that is why I can't get myself to feel agrieved about our current position. I would no longer call it pretty football just keep ball, if I was playing for the opposition I wouldn't be busting my balls to win it back when they are winning and we have the ball in our own half

Statistically, is this close to City's worst run ever?

Ha ha I remember Leeds selling Whelan to us as they signed Thomas Brolin. Whelan came to us, scored for fun and saved us from relegation and Brolin was useless. I have a mate who supports Leeds and always said that they never should have let Whelan go. back on subject isn't 2 in 19 worse than...

My brief encounter with Mr. Hoffman

That is true, he was on the pitch at half time but I am just passing on what he said. Come to think about it he didn't exactly say who he was invited by so you may be right. He may have been invited by Brighton not the City.

My brief encounter with Mr. Hoffman

I spoke to Gary Hoffman briefly on the train back from Brighton with his lad. I asked him if he was trying to buy our club and he said he is trying his best. He did say though that Saturday was the first time all season that he has been invited to a game and that SISU can't sustain running the...

    Away Support at Brighton

Yeah it was shame really because I didn't get to experience the place as I would have liked. Maybe we should have gone to the places with the rainbow flags above the doors, I am sure they welcome men in large groups :p

    Away Support at Brighton

Superskyblue, I agree with your opinion. I don't believe this is common at all games and the way they behaved was disgusting. Of course the stewards were going to come and do something about a smoke bomb/ flair as soon as it's recognised and the reaction from those louts was outrageous. I almost...

Nice to see Mr Westwood at the game.

Did you see Gunnar and Turner just jog back to their own half when they scored? I thought that was very mature and considerate.

    Got a feeling

I am split with this game. We played really well against West Ham, I don't expect Cardiff to challenge as much but I have to agree unfortunately I don't see us getting a win and anything less that 3 points is disappointing for us right now.

How well do you remember your team over the years? Cov City quiz.

I found this little quiz on sporcle to name every opening day starting lineup from the start of the premiership up until last season. I got what I hope is a respectable 131 out of 198 in 15 minutes but I am sure that others could do better. http://www.sporcle.com/games/Resistance/ccfc2010...

Grenada - Mallorca, La Liga abandoned game.

Did anyone see it? Linesman got hit by an umbrella that was thrown. Grenada are bottom of the league and came back from a goal behind. Had them as the last team in my accumulator. If this bet gets cancelled I lose £31 off the end of my winnings. Gutted lol.

    Bigi

I thought Bigi played well. My only criticism was his decisions on the ball on a couple of occasions like when we were on the break and he held the ball up and played the pass when he might have taken the ball forward himself. I thought he did his defensive duties very well too against someone...

    Minute silence

An embarrassment for everyone involved but I have to admit I did stifle a laugh right at the end when a bird at the front of block 16 shouted, "Shut the f**k up you fat ginger c**t!". Priceless.

    Running out of steam

I wholly agree and unfortunately it has been our downfall on more than a few occasions this season. Five minutes before Cole scored I said he was sitting on the left wing and we were getting exposed down our right hand side. I don't blame Christie or Thomas but you could see that both of them...

ACL & Council reactions to Brody and Board

I appreciate the arguement that they have developed a business even whilst the club has been badly managed but the other side is that without the club in the first place then surely an arena would never have been built.
