    Place your bets....

Will CCFC reply to the EFL by 5 th March ? My bet is that they won't and then draw it out until the Court of Appeal gives its verdict.

Recalled by FGR as Bolton hadn't paid for him and failed to honour agreement. Worth a punt ?

Team of players no longer with us

There are many players who have now passed away. Can we pick a team ? Les Sealey in Goal, Jim Holton centre half, Ernie Machin midfield, Ernie Hunt striker, Brian Hil full back. I have named a few, could name more, but who would you name ?

    SISU - seize the moment.

Slowly, albeit very slowly, SISU are getting more supporters onside.... still a massive gulf to fill though. Now is the time to seize the moment and grasp this golden opportunity and convince us you are fully focussed on ensuring the club moves forward and that the momentum continues. Look at...

Time to forget the past ?

Don't get me wrong, I hate SISU and hope they sell the club, but, it seems they are now really trying to build bridges... the transfer and budget policy for next season will tell us more about their intent. Mark Robbins and the team and CCFC appear United for the first time in many years and...

    Download tickets ?

Can tickets for Wembley be ordered and downloaded to print off rather than relying on Royal Mail to deliver them ? Serious question please.

    R.I P Ken McPherson

Will probably mean nothing to 99% on here but in the 1950's Ken McPherson was one of my hero's. He passed away aged 90 years but to a few of us oldies on here we have fond memories of him playing in the same team alongside a very young George Curtis, Roy Kirk, Noel Simpson, Frank Austin, Reg...

    Thought on low attendances

The Ricoh is Souless and the match day experience is nothing compared to that at Highfield Road. It has nothing to do with results although of course "big" games will attract more. The Ricoh has no history like Highfield Road did. The Ricoh experience is not inviting and it is too far out of the...

What's the latest on Carl Baker ?

How long does it take to prove his fitness ? Surely having played in India until recently he should have recovered from his injury by now. He is training with the club. Any update from MR would be appreciated ?

    Notts County, Exeter,Luton.

Seem odds on for the automatics now about one third of the season has passed. They are consistent, something Sky Blues are not. I will be amazed if we manage to go up automatically- even the play-offs seem a challenge.

    Checkatrade points system

In my opinion the points system for this competition has to be the most ridiculous concept ever introduced. Anyone else have an opinion ?

    Three out of Four

Port Vale, Carlise and Exeter at home, Cambridge away. 10 points from these four required to get back on track. Head says we'll get 7.

    Take note SISU

Thirty years ago Sky Blues won the FA Cup. Roll forward thirty years you have done very well to get us into the amazing lowest league ! Well done ! Tell us how you achieved such a remarkable success !

Would this work or are they past it now ?

    Why no new c e o yet ?

Could it be because negotiations are still taking place with Hoffman or are they having difficulty daft enough to take the job ? No applicant in their right mind would take the job knowing Hoffman is trying to buy the club ?

We need a leader with clout to unite behind

We are a bit like moths round a light bulb at the moment with no apparent leader. It seems to me that we should all regroup and unite behind Gary Hoffman and support his efforts to buy ccfc. The Trust, the Jimmy Hill Way are doing their bit but lack the clout to really have a serious attempt...

Supporting CCFC has cost me about £85,000

Taking the £ at today's value, in 65 years home games have cost me about £30,000 and going to away games £65,000. That's nearly £100,000. The above includes cost of tickets, travel, programmes and replica kits etc. £85,000 is a conservative amount Not forking out any more !
