It matters not one iota if Wasps told CCFC they were not going to relay a new pitch. It matters not one iota if the CWG buggered up the pitch. The one and only relevance is the terms Wasps agreed to in the legal agreement they signed to provide a pitch fit for purpose for CCFC to play football...

Plague on all houses for me

I hope the EFL is sympathetic to the situation the club finds itself in as the EFL are responsible for arranging fixtures and must have been aware that rugby would be played just before the season started.

    CCFPA

As an 80 year old supporter since 1952, some members of the CCFPA may mean nothing to today's supporters but to us oldies even those former players who never quite made it, rekindles distant memories of the good old days. Is George Mason dead lol ?

    Who is Grendel ?

This person is obviously an experienced pundit with a wealth of football knowledge having spent many years in the professional game. Seems to disagree with the majority of those posting on this forum.... or is he just controversial on purpose to wind people up ? The word "ego" springs to mind.

    Michael Doyle

To conclude, I value Mark Robbins opinion of Michael Doyle over Grendel's opinion.

    Michael Doyle

According to Grendel, once a player reaches his prime and their abilities become less, they are rubbish and he doesn't care what they contributed when in their prime. Doyle is a legend, loves CCFC and always says we are his club.

    Missing the old stadiums

Touch of nostalgia, thinking about the stadiums we used to visit... The Dell, Burnden Park, Ayresham Park, Victoria Ground, Roker Park, Fellows Park, Gary Meadow, Eastville, Goldstone, plus few more !

    Now we’re 100% safe remember...

Remember, MR said he was learning about managing in the Championship too. He didn't claim to know it all. Same as the players, they were learning too. I like MR, no ego.

    Thank you SISU

Thinking about the more recent years, SISU has managed the club well. They have backed MR to the hilt, negotiated a good deal with Birmingham when Wasps wouldn't agree rent deal to keep CCFC being able to continue. They have now agreed a 10 year deal to stay at the Ricoh. SISU recent management...

    Best feeling ever?

When we beat Wolves 3-1 to get promoted to the top flight. We were losing 0-1 at half time. Over 54,000 crammed into Highfield Road. Euphoria !

    European breakaway league

These clubs pay their players millions of pounds a year and then complain they are not making any money and expect the fans to pay more so they can players more.
