greg clarke interveiw on cwr after 7 this morning

I still feel, as I always have done, that the Administrator should not have opted for Otium as the preferred bidder. The Football League HAS to work with the "preferred bidder". This has a long way to run... once the liquidation is presented to a High Court Judge for approval then, and only...

Les Reid interviewing Greg Clark today

I can't tweet, don't have Twitter - but one question (mentioned by OSB) " why couldn't the FL continue allowing CCFC (Holdings) Ltd to continue until this mess was sorted out and before awarding the Golden Share. For several months they had been doing just this when Holdings did not hold the...

Heartfelt message to those going to Sixfields

I understand that you wish to "support Pressley and the Lads" and that going to Sixfields was a difficult decision for you, but left me ask you this :- What "loyalty" does a CCFC player have towards the team ? You know, as well as I do, that come a better offer they would be off like a shot ...

Is the FL pointing the finger at Appleton ?

Yes, I agree with you, but if the FL had not applied it's "discretion" surely this would have meant that CCFC would have gone out of existence as there was no other Company to award the Golden Share to ? I don't know, I'm not an expert - I just hope all this comes out in the High Court !

Is the FL pointing the finger at Appleton ?

Not necessarily -- a High Court has to approve liquidation and I forsee one or two challenging this and asking a lot of questions which the High Court will need answers to. As I posted, there now has to be a serious investigation into the whole process - this could take months. Don't be...

Is the FL pointing the finger at Appleton ?

I think this is the key... a lot of people may be hastily trying to cover their backs before this goes to the High Court for a decision. Question:- why is Appleton taking so long ?

Is the FL pointing the finger at Appleton ?

I too have had the lengthy reply from the Football League and, reading between the lines, they seem to be pointing the finger at the Administrator for selecting Otium as the preferred bidder. Regardless of whether or not the FL failed to apply the "fit and proper persons test" they are implying...

    nuneaton town

I would certainly think a merger (not takeover) of a local Conference team who would love the chance to have a home stadium like the Ricoh would prove popular -- Nuneaton ? futher down the pyramid - Hinckley, Bedworth, Rugby, Leamington. Merge Coventry United or Coventry 1883. Just gives...

This won't make a scrap of difference I'm afraid, he won't care a toss !

How else can we stop SISU/Fisher ?

I is obvious that SISU and Fisher don't give a monkeys about the wishes of the supporters.. he is virtually sticking two fingers up to us and protests are like water off a ducks back to him and SISU - one man versus the over 15,000 of us who signed the petition, 7,000 who marched in protest...

    Start a New Club

Sadly, I agree. The only way to get rid of SISU now is COMPETITION. I posted on another thread that protests are not working and will probably tail off. My ideal would be for Haskell to buy the Ricoh and fund a Pheonix club playing there. If anyone knows a better way let them share it ? SISU...

    fisher on CWR now

As difficult a decision as it might be the only way now is for SISU to have competition, by that I mean another Coventry club playing at the Ricoh. If Haskell or Byng's lot could buy the Ricoh and fund a phoenix club to play at the Ricoh then SISU would have competition. Protests are not...

Fisher's comments have really angered me (I was angry before, but even more so now after listening to him on CWR) - Time to STEP UP THE PROTESTS !!!
