There was a dreadfully rainsodden one down there under Coleman we lost .
Think it was a tad controversial losing the game that never should have gone ahead, and possibly we agreed to play it when we didn't have to.

Hopefully the virus/bug will be completely out of their systems and the players are fully ready to go.
If we're on our game as we were last night and with the extra fitness being bug free will give us , we'll give them a proper hard time

Surely if he's fit, McFadzean has to come back in? Been immense recently. Defence got away with a couple of errors on Tuesday - one a massive one that should have produced an equaliser. Doyle to drop out. Touch wood Hamer and O'Hare can start, too.

Don't have a good feeling about this one. Think the effects of the virus will show, with fatigue and underperformance hitting home. Don't like to let head rule heart, but taking off my sky blue specs I can see this one being 3-0 Watford.

these are a big, strong team, especially at corners by the look of last night, are we bringing Fadz back in to counter that or do we leave the defence as it is?

Don't they have a few of their Italian branch players from Serie A in the side too?

It's a good opportunity to capitalise on their lengthy injury list. Watford seem to be doing the business recently but they have loads of injuries. We could get something from Watford.

I’ve put my last tenner on an away win, so they best not let me down.

Last time in about the 80's in Tuesday night cup game 2-2 I think.
Was that the League Cup quarter final in 1981. Great night that was didn’t leave Cov till 5 o’clock. Me and two mates charging down the motorway in his Ford Capri got in just in time. Think Gordon Milne ran over to us at the end to clap the fans

Yes if memory serves me correct

I seem to remember Doyler talking about it in a podcast as that game was due to be his debut
Cov lads turned up and the OB said it was called off but couldn’t tell them why because the Utd loanees family hadn’t been told…then they went on the piss and caused general mayhem around Watford. Those were the days

Might need to be well on our guard on Saturday.
Referee Lee Daughty in charge has reffed 12 games so far this season, producing 53 yellows and 3
reds.
He was in the middle last night for Burnley v Rotherham gave what appeared a harsh red for 2 yellows and played 13 minutes Fergie time.

Apparently Gus is 50/50 and Fadz hasn't trained since Tuesday. Think we might see a few changes tomorrow. Do we risk Vik, O'Hare and Hamer or keep them fresh for the Wigan match. I'd play Eccles in midfield for Hamer, Kane in at RWB. Palmer for O'Hare.

All train strikes have been called off.

I swear they are taking the piss, I booked a hotel instead which I can't cancel. Night out in Watford then.

They are piss takers but sounds like still shortages tomorrow as the strike cancelled so late.

Despite Saturday's walkout being cancelled, Network Rail said "the very late notice means that services for tomorrow cannot be reinstated and will remain extremely limited".

They've still got a shed load of top players. Rest Hamer, unless he's 100%. Need strongest side for Wigan - that's where we need the 3 points.
