Would be a good gesture to offer any st holder or people who bought match packages a good early bird deal.
Talking to yourself?
I think if they look on the system and somebody who has bought tickets for more than half of home games too offer it. Repay the faith!Of course forgot about the packages yep same again!
Maybe even release this if we have a good jan and people might by ST for last 8/9 home games, with the aim
Of buying one next season if we go up.

I guess so, would be nice to be able to reward people for showing faith this season. Then you get the complications of people that say have been to 12 home games but paid on the gate and haven't retained stubs.

It wouldn't actually be 15k. You have to lose a certain amount of available seats for segregation and a certain amount will be away allocation so what would you actual number of seats will be left for home fans? 11-12k maybe a little more?
Depends on the design of the ground. If designed right you wouldn't need to lose 3-4K for segregation.

How are we going to challenge at the top of the championship when we have one of the bottom 3-4 turnovers in the league and owners who aren't willing to throw in another £10-15m pa?

Well we have a new deal at the Ricoh so who knows we may now have a better turnover after all our rental costs this season is well below what most clubs have to pay just for the upkeep of there stadiums.
It still won't be enough as teams tend to have £20m+ wage bill. Our turnover will still only be £10.5-11m.

Not arguing that but can't see where all these other teams can make £10m just from owning their grounds and sales of pies excetera?
The Ricoh has never made anywhere near that an has more activities on then most Arenas in the country?
Well they seem though. We had midtable attendances yet bottom 4 revenues/turnover. They also then have owners willing to throw in another £10m+ pa.

Not according to a statement in the original JR which was never challenged.
Second point hit nail head.

So if owners are willing to put in a few quid, what their stadiums make doesn't really matter.
If we owned the Arena we would be lucky to make 2-3 million if past profits are taken into account and then we would have to run it more proffesionally.
So we could have a cheap rental agreement with all income going to our club and nothing but fat b@stards as supporters after eating 10 pies each game and no upkeep of the stadium, yet have one of the lowest incomes?
So I take it we won't see on here again that we need to own our own stadium to be able to compete in the championship
What statement? In our last season in the championship our turnover was £10.7m, only 3 teams had lower turnovers - Peterborough, Doncaster and Barnsley. No coincidence we're all now in league one.

The statement in the JR which said our turnover was actually 15 million this was never disputed. It was an a thread about a month ago when I pointed this out to you funnily enough you didn't answer and no I'm not going to look for the thread. You find it and you explain it.

With all four respect to OSB in the JR 15 million was stated as the turnover this was never disputed so either the person who stated it was that figure was a liar or the accounts were wrong now I'm not accusing anyone of wrong doing here you understand
You could be mistaken, or sisu didn't dispute as it was non issue in JR. They are the published accounts, they have been audited and are a legal document.

I'm not disputing that after all I use the same auditors as Starbucks
What's that got to do with anything?
Hopefully OSB will clear this up. I'm sorry but I don't buy the £15m and losing £5m on top. There no way we spent that much money.
I'll leave you to it now, we will be fine, we will be a financial force and we will win promoted from the championship next year.

Walsalls a Tuesday night game plus people are always skint after Xmas and new year, so won't be anywhere near yesterday's attendance. Perhaps 12.5k.

Fair enough. I was just commenting on the 'plant' reference, and can now see where you were coming from.
I do agree wholeheartedly with you that we need a stadium with a larger capacity than 15k. What, when and if a new stadium ever happens will be for another day.
It was just nice to reward a good crowd with 3 points.
What ticket prices do you think we'd charge in the championship out of interest?

So your estimate of the next game has gone up by about 14% in the matter of a few hours from 11000 to 12500 - quite a spectacular increase.....
