Weren't sisu offered an extremely low rent and access to revenue streams?Couldn't give a shit if they hold the freehold or not, just want the club to have access to all the revenues it possibly can, so we as a club can be as successful as we possibly can be. the whole point of moving there in the first place all those years ago. That was the idea wasn't it?
Sisu have not listened to us fans.so we stay away and send the strongest message we can that we are not happy. People who go to sxfeilds counteract what we are trying to achieve. That really annoys me personally.
If you go you are supporting Sisu. Simple as that.
Truth is, nobody is really doing anything. Not the people attending Sixfields, not the people sitting on their arse moaning, they're not making the slightest bit of difference. The only people who deserve any credit are those that stand on the hill, although there are so few of them that their presence now goes entirely unnoticed. So, it's pointless, but at least they can say they are doing something - and it happens to be a pretty miserable experience, so hats off to those that still do it.
fucking hell, swizzfields, that's scraping the barrel. Worst yet.Anybody got anymore ideas/dates/fixtures for a protest at the Ricoh??
Obviously to coincide with a swizzfields game ???
good time for a crucifiction. If we want a big turnout and time to organise a special event who we play on around Easter??

The club sold the revenue streams years ago, why don't sisu attempt to buy them back? Why didn't they buy the higgs share?
The trouble is that sisu don't want to pay for anything, theyre scavengers, they want everything for nothing.
We will never be successful under sisu.
well go and start a new club then, because from where I'm sitting, all your doing is preaching on an internet forum. The very thing you're accusing others of doing. The trouble is Woody, the club may not be around in some form after Sisu leave. Doing things right now, instead of waiting for Sisu to dictate what happens will force their hand.
There are any number on here who want to sit on their hands and preach a waiting game. Not an option.
The first tactic should be to get those who go to Sixfields to show Sisu what they think. They constantly tell us they don't like it. Well sodding well show it and we might believe you.
All along the idea of a reclaimed CCFC has been - in my view, and others, a tactic, a contingency plan, something of a strategic thing. But of course others wilfully ignore that and make mischief over it.
Will the nightmare be over? I very much doubt it. You'll wait years while the bastards scheme. Sisu don't have morals or any thought of the history of the club. They have no compassion whatsoever. Ruthless beyond belief.
And yet the white hankies (not you) still want to appease them.
I support them because my dad did, and his dad did. It is a temporary thing in Northampton until confirmed otherwise. It is the same manager, kit, badge and players who then play at away games until confirmed different. It is still Coventry City until changed.
Some people just want to watch football and they will, whether people on an internet forum tell them they can or they can't.

Yup, and all this bitching and moaning, if anybody actually wants a proper protest, they miss the point those who actually do, and go one or t'other are more likely to join in than those happy to sit behind a PC and toss themselves off to pictures of Preston.
i think he was talking more like the sixfields attendees making it known while they are their that they are not happy about it.
for instance they could try singing songs like, ooo i don't know. i'm tired and i want to go home, we've got to get out of this place etc. that sort of thing. anything other then go, make no noise backing the team, make no noise complaining about the fact we are playing "home" games 34 miles away and then definitely don't come on here and tell us how we are missing out on great football. act like you give a fook about the long term future of the club and what it means to the local area.
Spoinkop has said all attendees at Sixfields should be banned from the Ricoh if we return.
The only way out of this mess (that I can see) is for SISU to buy the Ricoh and sell it on. They will not walk away and hand the club over, but they might walk away and liquidate the whole thing. That would be bad no?
the most naive post i have read for a few years, a hedge fund won't make money by buying things at their true market price, a tactic of distressing a business - ACL / CCC for 5 years and then offering a pittance based on a revised / lower market price is their tactic. wake up and smell the coffee.

Hoe can they be distressing ACL if they are doing better without the club as has been stated by OSB?
Quite the opposite I'd have thought.

300th post, not bad for same old drivel
The last thing I want to see now is a smirking Fisher!

Would any regular attendee at sixfields take part in an event at the Ricoh during a ' home' game??
I think the thousands at the Ricoh having a party to demonstrate that the support is there in the city that the team is named after has merit and if we still exist and are still playing Northampton by Easter then we should arrange it.
Am interested though to see if this would be seen as divisive?
come on nick, joe elliot obe.probably not after the last one where joe elliott was rolled out like a hero and fans were soiling themselves over him singing sisu out. It was cringeworthy.
It would be seen as divisive especially with it being at the ricoh.
It didn't have the same buzz to it as a proper football match. When a goal went in i wasn't bothered.
sorry mbe.come on nick, joe elliot obe.

Thats how i feel about goals at sixfields. I don't care if we score 5 there or concede 5.

Agreed valiant. Until the team becomes coventrys again, it's hard to not have apathy.
