Watch some of his bookings this season, definitely a case of the legs not moving as fast as the brain thinks they can, something I know all about!

He's still a very dangerous player at this level but he could probably take his career up a notch if he was a bit more professional.
They are more a kin to how he was for us before Vivaesh got hold of him regarding people picking up suspensions for accumulation if bookings - which obviously impacted us as a limited squad.

Wilder doesn't give a shit from a disciplinary perspective.

If we go up we would need to buy players thats a fact. Question is would you take anyone from this League? Discounting the promoted teams is there anyone left in the Championship that would be ready made for the Prem. Im struggling to think of any but is there anyone out there that anyone thinks could?

Playoffs is all about momentum and the lower ranked teams (5th and 6th), and generally the more in form teams, play the first leg at home which puts them at an advantage imo.

Play offs haven't been won by a team in 5th/6th since 2018/19 (a certain Derby manager lost in the final)

Only one team from 5th/6th has made it to the final since that year also (a certain team in sky blue)

Not to piss on anyone's chips, hopefully we're due one, but that doesn't check out

6th place has won 14 percent of finals since the play offs started.
5th place has won slightly more than 4th place, 26% to 23% and 3rd place on 37%.

It hasn’t been done for a while but if you look at this season, our form is identical to Sheffield United and Sunderland are below us and Bristol in the 2nd half of the season. In short, Sheff U are trending downwards at the wrong time (compare to Luton in 22/23) and Sunderland’s rapid start has kept them in this position.

Both our home records are strong and fancy us both to go through if we win the first leg. That said, I didn’t think we’d beat Boro in 22/23 unless we won the first leg.
