According to Kieran Crowley, both of these were on the main targets list, and Leon Clarke, is one of the others on this list, so should expect at least one more striker.

Putting in an 18 year old from thr Premier League was always a gamble. Be interesting to see how he does next season wherever he ends up. Sordell is definitely a risk worth taking. Was very highly thought of up until about two years ago and I'd like to see him given a two year deal.

He's really bigging up ghazdev, says he will be league one player of the year next year.

He also seems quite confident about signing Leon as well.

I know Clarke has his haters but I would love him back. Scored goals wherever he has been just clearly an arse and after money. Well get him in for a season and let his do the job and then let's us bin him.

A lot of people had Adrian Durhams view of how the hell did Coventry pull that off.
Difference with Armstring we borrowed him.
Sordell if we get him is the market we are in when we want to get our own

I thought Adrian Durham aquired his view on AA based on his blistering
start to the season for us.
Could be wrong though.

We need some attacking midfielders. Even assuming the new strike-force scores goals, a promotion chasing side needs goals to come from other places. We also need a specialist penalty-taker. Let's not forget how many points that cost us last season.

No he said he when it was announced that we signed him.
He was gob smacked he came to this level based on his international form. He felt he should have been in the championship.
Remember it clearly and feeling quite positive about the signing.

One thing I would like to have added to the setup is a coach who played up front. TM, JC and MV were all defenders. The two lads we've signed (or nearly signed) and George Thomas have a bit of development to do. Maybe that's the whole point of keeping Tudgay on the books?

Good point that

Hopefully the Sordell deal is off. He's a poor player.

As for Gadzhev, prepare to be amazed. He won't be here in January, he's far far too good for us.

Somebody, somewhere thought more of Sordell than that. He went for £3m once. As somebody else has said, let's hope he can do a McGoldrick.

Gazdev did look like he'd shed a few pounds in the photo's of pre-season training. Everything I've ever read about him and the little bit I saw of him last season would make me think his best position is higher up the pitch, rather than a replacement for Fleck. If we can keep Fleck as well, fantastic.

A midfield three of Vincelot, Rose/Fleck and Gadzhev is excellent at L1 level and has a very good balance too it. Fleck and Gadhzhev are very different players but honestly, if Fleck left its no loss, his replacement is a far better player.

According to CCFC twitter reference the signing, they have said "To expect news, exact timing TBC"

Reuben Reid has just left Plymouth after turning down a new contract. Were't we after him ?

Yes but they wanted a 6 figure fee.

Curtis Nelson has also left Plymouth. He would be a very decent signing.

He's not a bad player, also fits the business model TM and MV are trying to build. Young, promising player to build a base of the clubs identity from. Also there club captain so could be a good leader this team requires.
Barnsley were interested in him only a month ago and any club would require to pay compensation for him. Happy if it's us.

I've always thought Fleck would be far more effective further up the pitch,
