Because he was running out of steam, not because I can’t deal with a few losses lol
I remember being in the stands at Leyton Orient on a freezing cold January evening watching a 12 year old George Thomas start up front and Denzel Slager coming off to the bench as we lost 2-0 in front of about 3k people.
Little did I know at the time that would be as good as it gets and years later I'd pining for those days as I watched the team nearly reach the FA Cup final.
Funny how we all remember them though. We've played 30 odd games in the last year that are very easily forgotten. Was that the night it was pissing it down and wouldn’t stop?
Not knowing his best team, constant changes, lack of tactical direction etc. What brought you to the conclusion he was running out of steam if not results?
Not the music guru or whatever?
I got to this point a few years ago as we were sliding down the leagues seemingly on the way to extinction. Everything about the club seemed broken and going nowhere.Secondly, it's not as important to me as it once was. Used to ruin my weekend if we lost, or I'd be furious if I couldn't make a game. Now I'm like 'meh'
No. I remember that Pete Chambers (music museum guy) having to clarify on Facebook that wasn't him.Not the music guru or whatever?

It wasn't a conscious decision and I think that's the point people miss when there's posts like this. They think people have put thought into it and decided to stop supporting but it doesn't work like that. It just stops mattering as much and once that happens you'll start questioning the huge expenditure every year. If you then don't buy a season ticket it can get harder and harder to motive yourself to attend games. Would anyone who doesn't have a season ticket really be rushing to hand over £30+ for the next few games?
The novelty of being able to go week in week out again having moved back to the area was definitely wearing off when Robins game back. If that hadn't happened I'm not entirely sure I'd still be a season ticket holder.
We have had year on year record season ticket sales. Something has got to happen pretty soon if a noticeable chunk of those aren't going to start questioning if it's worth renewing.
I certainly don't think our hardcore support is the number of season ticket holders we have now.If large chunks do stop renewing it would confirm how poor our actual true fanbase is
Or it could be the result of getting really tough with the Family Zone!If large chunks do stop renewing it would confirm how poor our actual true fanbase is
I not sure I will renew because of the road closures. It’s 2-3 hours drive home on a good day, but the road closures after the game puts another hour on my journey. I will be thinking hard on my decision come May.The road closures will put loads off going next season too

Yep I think it was about 3 degrees and raining, absolutely grim!

We had two more than advertised as we were in the home end as my nephew was playing for Morecombe, just looked at their scorers and one name stood out.I wish we could go back to losing 2-0 at Morecambe away in December 2017 where the overall attendance was 1700 and we had about 300 there.
But it was amazing because it was 'proper football'.
We've been pretty naff for a while and are still selling out on Boxing Day at £37.
We should be and finally feel like a club who can sustain 25,000+ regardless. There are clubs like Norwich and West Brom who seem to maintain great crowds regardless of their seasons.
Too many people have got into a routine of going and it's hard to walk away. That's a good thing.
Hope you're right. CBS is a much better experience with a 25k plus crowd in there
The road closures will put loads off going next season too
