Funny how we all remember them though. We've played 30 odd games in the last year that are very easily forgotten.

I got to this point a few years ago as we were sliding down the leagues seemingly on the way to extinction. Everything about the club seemed broken and going nowhere.
It wasn't a conscious decision and I think that's the point people miss when there's posts like this. They think people have put thought into it and decided to stop supporting but it doesn't work like that. It just stops mattering as much and once that happens you'll start questioning the huge expenditure every year. If you then don't buy a season ticket it can get harder and harder to motive yourself to attend games. Would anyone who doesn't have a season ticket really be rushing to hand over £30+ for the next few games?
The novelty of being able to go week in week out again having moved back to the area was definitely wearing off when Robins game back. If that hadn't happened I'm not entirely sure I'd still be a season ticket holder.
We have had year on year record season ticket sales. Something has got to happen pretty soon if a noticeable chunk of those aren't going to start questioning if it's worth renewing.

I certainly don't think our hardcore support is the number of season ticket holders we have now.
As with every club in the country when the on pitch offering is a winning team and the stands are full of happy supporters singing together its a much better experience than losing week in week out and a split fanbase arguing with each other.
Personally I can envisage a lot of people deciding they don't want to spend a significant amount of money every couple of weeks to be miserable for a few hours.

I not sure I will renew because of the road closures. It’s 2-3 hours drive home on a good day, but the road closures after the game puts another hour on my journey. I will be thinking hard on my decision come May.
Yep I think it was about 3 degrees and raining, absolutely grim!

We had two more than advertised as we were in the home end as my nephew was playing for Morecombe, just looked at their scorers and one name stood out.

I think it's inevitable that we lose some season ticket holders next season. Not just for the football on the pitch, but for everything else mentioned like the parking, getting away from the stadium, 12.30pm kick offs, the away fans moving creating a much poorer atmosphere, the price of food and drink etc. I personally wouldn't bother if it wasn't for my kids (teenagers), but even they've said it's not as good anymore.

We've been pretty naff for a while and are still selling out on Boxing Day at £37.
We should be and finally feel like a club who can sustain 25,000+ regardless. There are clubs like Norwich and West Brom who seem to maintain great crowds regardless of their seasons.
Too many people have got into a routine of going and it's hard to walk away. That's a good thing.

The entertainment is still good for those that may be new to the buying a season ticket. Plenty of goals. Besides the parking and transportation, it's still a good day out for families and much improved for those who want a couple of pints.

Not gonna happen, but would be a decent gesture if they rolled forwards the prem package next year for free for those that took it. Can’t imagine its material incremental. revenue and might entice a few to renew.

The toys are going in and out of the pram so quickly I can't keep up with the last two performances.
The second half of the season will completely define our season ticket take up. If we are not on it, numbers will slide possibly dramatically. A great run, even if we miss out on the top 6, will satisfy most people. FOMO may kick in also.

The road closures worked well for me last game waited behind a bit and the old man is pretty slow walking, got out just as they opened the ones by the ground and for once used the a444 rather than masser road and got home about half an hour quicker than before

Getting away from the ground is a nuisance and with my elderly father unable to walk far, I have to sit and suffer it. That said, we stick CWR on in the car for the post match phone in and it bothers me much less waiting when we've won. Sitting there with gloating away fans going past irks me. As always the simplest and best answer is get it right on the pitch and fans will put up with almost anything.
