I'm guessing we've known early on that he wasn't an option. Swansea interest was know before the playoff final. Once they lost that was probably a foregone conclusion.

It was very unlikely we would sign Sheaf, Waghorn, James and Walsh. Would Imagine that the latter 3 would have been asking for near enough 10k pw each.

I'm not sure a few comments from players on podcast, specifically elicited by the podcast presenters I might add, should hold as much value as the obvious on pitch benefits that he brought.

It isn't really worrying it's just a gamble.

Not sure where Walsh would have fitted into our first team with Hamer also with Kelly, O’Hare, Sheaf, Eccles, Bapaga too I still expect another midfielder to be signed though.
