They're Americans - some are every bit as fanatical and fanciful as a North Korean with a thimble full of plutonium

Hardly a surprise to see Farage's fan boys out in force defending the Nazis still.

That's the kinda accusation/snide riposte that Grendel was referring to previously.

Just because someone doesn't automatically dismiss 100% of everything Farage or Trump says it does not mean they want to have their children

In reality (I don't know this, just suggesting it is a possible) the Trump hating sections of the media have simply chosen to report that said Nazi groups had plans to march. That fires up the anti-brigade, they provoke the local people into protesting and bingo! They have put Trump right on the spot.

They announced that themselves. Every pro or anti Nazi knew without the MSM that they planned a show of force in Charlottesville. Trump is quite capable of putting himself on the spot. He does it daily.

Actually the same people that support Farage stick up for Trump. Read the thread. How far are you pregnant?

Doesn't really bother me to be honest. There are plenty of you attempting to deflect as much as possible and excuse the whole thing.

The same posters on here repeatably defend the likes of Farage, Trump, Robinson and Le Pen.

Says it all.

No one is actually sticking up for trump. As for Farage he isn't in Britain that relevant.

I defend the likes of Robinson, trump etc. to their rights of freedom of speech providing they act within the law. I'm sure a decent and civilised human being you do as well.

It's ironic that the Nazi behaviour most exhibited on here is by Sick Boy, Goebells Cov and Liquid Gold.

If you oppose my view you are thick, ignorant, not deserving a view.

We saw that somewhere in the 30's didn't we?

In every case? I think not. As I have previously said - I have great sympathy for someone losing work to cheap EU import workforce & fully understand their Brexit stance on that issue to name but one...& that was one of Farage's angles. But I voted to remain myself.

So like I just replied to SickBoy. ..don't confuse trying to listen & understand & then empathise with the sentiment of people you (&/or I) dislike the views of with support or sticking up for them

It's also backed up by data on the increase in attacks on minorities from the FBI.

Has anyone said that Tommy Robinson and Trump have no right to free speech? I think they talk crap on occasions ( mostly actually), but that doesn't put me in the same level as Goebels.

I think you were sleeping in history class.

Not so long ago that there was talk about a knighthood for the irrelevant Farage. His propaganda played some part in frightening people into voting leave. He has a lot to answer for.

Trump has just pardoned a racist sheriff convicted of racial profiling and maltreating latinos in his custody. Shit storm kicking off. Trump doesn't care. They're only latinos and a minority in the US as a whole. He is playing to his base. He is not the president of the USA, but of the 35% who support him in whatever he says or does.

Yes, the MSM will rip him apart and put him on the spot. Thank god they are still free to do that. He tries to delegitimise them the whole time with his fake news crap, but it obvious that, with or without fake news, he should not have been elected. No wonder the popular vote went against him.

I wait for the usual suspects to come on here and defend Trump and the sheriff.

Difficult one. MSM? Naaa. Trump himself. Obama? Naa... not really as he is black. Hillary? Naaa.. cannot connect to emails. Muslims? Naaa... aren't many in Arizona. Hitler or Goebels? Naa.. would have also pardoned the sheriff ( best keep off that subject).

Will be interesting.

Nigel farage isn't your cup of tea because he speaks some hard truths. Thank goodness he isn't in the Labour Party as we all know what would happen to him if the last week is anything to go by.

While I'm at it George osbournes propoganda forced people to vote remain based on ludicrous scare mongeroning. Remember it? I do. Interests rate would massively rise and an emergency budget. He has a lot to answer for. Wouldn't you say?

There was plenty of scaremongering from the leave side as well, when is Turkey joining the EU and the 100''s of millions of Turks moving to the UK?

Farage indulges in dog whistle racism and not a lot else, oh, apart from brown nosing Trump.

Nigel Farage feels awkward when he doesn't hear English on the train | Daily Mail Online

Let's hope Farage and all his little followers always speak the local lingo when they are outside Britain speaking with fellow countrymen.

Deflect all you like and I enjoy reading your opinion but end of the day brexit won thats where the book ends for me. It's called democracy and it's a beautiful thing.

But democracy isn't a single point in time and then nothing ever gets questioned again.

As a fan of democracy do we assume you would approve of another vote when we know the exact terms of leaving the EU?

Could you be more specific on the meaning of "out"? What does it entail and which parts of "out" did you vote for?

Apparently according to one leading Brexiteer, no one was talking about leaving the Single Market, yet apparently it was clear that this was the intention.

He isn't my cup of tea because he is a liar, hypocrite and scaremonger - amongst other things. Interest rates will rise if inflation rises because of an ever devaluing pound. An emergency budget could be necessary if production, and therefore tax receipts, fall. The game is far from over - not even half time yet, but we appear to be losing.

but it's quite clear that no one knew exactly what leave would entail, just listening to the negotiating team and seeing all the back stabbing and behind the back briefing that is going on confirms that.
The over riding factor which caused me to vote remain was I didn't trust this government to deliver a successful exit, unfortunately I have seen nothing that suggests I was wrong with that analysis.

The referendum was not called on a particular point which was so controversial and important at that moment that it would have been sensible to put it to the people. It was called because of right wing Tories not liking the EU, and the fact that UKIP was nibbling into Tory support. Nothing directly to do with the current EU terms or the welfare of the country as a whole, but just to save the Tory party from a possible split or loss of votes. It should never have been held - regardless of the outcome - and there is every reason to think about a second referendum based on what we now know instead of just BS from both sides.

Well we can do but we all know it's code for staying in the EU so let's not try and dress that up another way. What would be fair and a democratic decision would be for another vote on Eu memebership to rejoin in 15-20 years. If we want to rejoin and vote for it then fine by me.

As for the us point mart made about democracy. It's a fair one but it's not how it's decided. It's a bit like saying in a football match well we had 75% possession but we lost 3-0 yeah because goals are more important than possession.

Probably best not to while standing in the middle of one of their rallies. Wait until they've all gone home for tea and then shout all you like! I reckon around 4.30pm - 5.00pm!

Nope.

He isn't your cup of tea because he stood up to your beloved Mekel's EU and exposed it for what it is... A crumbling, corrupt institution geared to advance the German economy.

That's why you despise him and are so obsessed by him.

This is true...its best left to the police to deal with though rather than giving them the publicity they crave to spread hate & provoke greater confrontation surely?
