Feel like if he were staying at Preston he’d have signed their contract by now. Similar to how O’Hare is definitely gone because he hasn’t signed with us

Yeah if he was staying you'd think he would've wanted to get it all wrapped up before going on holiday.

A ready made combative midfielder from a top half team in our division... I honestly haven't been as convinced a player would be brilliant for us since we signed Abu Ogogo.
Abu Ogogo, I remember seeing him play against Scunthrope first game of the season in League One, think we lost 2-1, with Tony Andreu scoring a free kick, and thought "we've got one hell of a player here"... how wrong I was. One highlight was away to Shrewsbury, not that there was much to celebrate that day, but one of the kids on the tannoy said his favourite player was Ogogo, much to our delight.

Was gutted when Andreu did his ACL, we’ll never really know but I was of the impression at the time that he’d have been too good for L2.

You haven't missed anything, nobody knows so nothing has changed. Coventry City FC website under News is more reliable.

Proper lack of ambition from him but tbf if they’ve offered silly money…

That’ll be their budget gone.

I never really felt a vibe that this one was on? However I could still be proved wrong 😂

That's a shame, thought he is exactly what we needed.

I am honestly not too fussed.

Torp and Palmer can fight for the 10 spot, with Allen, if he stays, and maybe even Wright also playing there. Eccles, Sheaf and sexy New Zealand guy to play central midfield, again if we got the latter.

I would have liked to have signed him, but if Preston did push the boat out to sign him on inflated wages, I am glad we didn't.

Someone I've worked for who works at the CBS says Preston have a budget every season of £12m for wages signings etc and they finish 12th every year in the league

They need to increase that budget to £24m then! 😆 Dullest side and fans in the Championship and I would love to see them relegated.

It really grates how bad our record is against them.
