Exactly the player we need, that grit and energy in midfield. Natural leader, as well. Experience is needed, as is guile and ‘dark arts’.

I would be surprised if we’re not after him, in reality.

Well he does it now and again, but it’s regularly that’s the key. I’m sure I could find an example of my dog creating a nice through ball if I scrolled back through my photos far back enough 😂
I agree he doesn't do it regularly. But I think he's capable of it, and it's more down to the role he's been asked/forced to play recently. Last season, because he's so good, Sheaf has to pretty much do everything, and Eccles helps out. Season before, it was to free up Hamer as much as possible. If we had Browne in there as well, it would take away some of Sheaf's less glamourous responsibilities and allow him to be a bit more progressive in his play, as they could take it in turns to go forward etc.

It's all ifs and buts, but I think if it helps to unshackle Sheaf, then adding Browne would make us more creative in that area of the pitch than last season.

If it's Cov or Middlesbrough then it's Middlesbrough, they will pay him more money. 🤑

Went to uni there. Can confirm.
Me too!! Although I found the drinking establishments pretty good! The Adelphi and the Ship Inn were next to my uni building. Of course there was Tokes on a Wednesday night, and The Warehouse was a great night out too. Really enjoyed my time there.

Tell me someone is at the CBS to see if he’s there.

I still think he goes Boro or Sheff Utd but we have got to be in with a shout.

You would imagine the stamenic money could go towards a sizeable contract offer ? Be between us and sheffield united I'd imagine

If I was him, I would pick a club who is on the up and in stability. Sheffield Utd, Leeds and Burnley are all over the place at the moment

I think a lot of media was possibly done at the end of last week, awaiting announcements this week

I'd be interested to know how many Sheffield Utd players people think would get into our best 11... it can't be many surely? probably the worst relegated Prem team ever. Hamer and Ahmedhodzic? Not convinced either of them will be there come the start of the season either.

Maybe if Doug and MR turned up to have a chat, dressed like oversized leprechauns, that would help? 🇮🇪 ☘️

I think Burnley have a chance, Burnley will pay him more money and he wouldn't have to move house 🏡

You mean managerless Burnley and then might not fit in with the plans of any incoming new manager?

If Rhys Carr coming to us is true as coach, then maybe the Irish connection could help us in getting that done
