Any progression to the first team?Surprised about this.
I heard multiple times the past few years that he was supposed to be the better of the two brothers.
Surprised to hear this, thought he would be kept on.Always a sad time of year in a way, especially for View attachment 29635these youngsters.
I can’t look good for Bapaga either
It’s life and football and not the first teamIs this good timing? Negative vibes around the squad just before big games? Could it not have waited a couple of weeks?
Negative vibes? I doubt many of the released would have even trained with the first team. Football is, and always has been a ruthless profession. Is this good timing? Negative vibes around the squad just before big games? Could it not have waited a couple of weeks?

Contracts run until 30th June so makes no difference in wages paid. They have no more games do it's fairer for the players so they have more time to find something else.It probably could, or should, have for morale sakes. But that would be several more weeks wages the club would have to pay for "dead wood".
He’s the only one I can see having a chance of playing for us next year, if we’re in the championshipRus will be the interesting one. Won development player of the season and highly praised on both loan spells.

Get a grip
I guarentee they’re having no interaction with the first team atm
What? They’re not part of the first team squad. Is this good timing? Negative vibes around the squad just before big games? Could it not have waited a couple of weeks?
TrueYou can guarantee that even though one of them has a brother in the first team squad?
I wonder if many decisions are made until the season is fully over. There’s about 20 teams who don’t know what division they are going to be in next year. (Granted, they are probably going L2 or similar but there’s going to be so much churn other clubs are surely going to wait to see which clubs release who and delay decisions until then?)Contracts run until 30th June so makes no difference in wages paid. Eccles and Jack Burroughs both been in the first team this season...our youth set up is clearly not good enough. Has not been for ages. Nee and Burroughs were supposed to be two of the best prospects but they are clearly not up to scratch. Youth set ups are a long haul - look at the time these boys have been with us. If it is sorted out now, we will not see the benefit for another decade.
We also seem to have given up on 'development' as a source of talent - that generated Hyam and MacCallum (and also Westbrooke). There has been nobody of that ilk for a while.

And TavaresPlus Howley
At his age he should be knocking on first team door, miles off itI can’t look good for Bapaga either
But surely MR will wait until we know if we are going up or not. That’d be the sensible thing to do, right? The first team released list will be interesting
